Saturdays game was physical, but I thought the boys dug in well and at 3-2 we was back in it, I'm not to concerned we lost 6-2 as we were trying to play football the right way, as opposed to shooting from the centre, t
The most pleasing aspect was the way the boys weren't intimidated despite the obvious size difference I'm confident if we play them next season with our boys having growth spurts we will beat them.
Well done all the boys and thanks to the parents , Jordan & Ethan for helping out appreciate it.

A tremendous performance Saturday by all teh boys everyone should be very proud all 10 played well and the most pleaseing thing was despite going 1-0 down we never looked like loosing and eventually pulled it back to 2-1 we rae becoming a very difficult team to beat, despite not playing in his customary attacking position Jack Farmer was immense against a very physical side well done all.
Thanks Jordan & Parents for your support.

Another cracking game of football we'll be known as "The Entertainers" soon 😂😂😂
Both times we've lost but both times the result could have gone our way. it's nice to see some players filling in different positions we are slowly getting there.passing is really coming on my he boys are battling so hard.
Big Thanks to Boyd saving a penalty and Big Rilley bossed the game at the back and hit the post
Thanks Parents for coming and Thanks Jordan & Ethan

Another excellent display from the lads yesterday.

Scoring goals is becoming the norm now and every single player is excelling when they get their chance on the pitch. Looking very bright this season.

What a start to the season! The lads played really well today and scored for fun. Some work needs doing on positional sense as our centre half scored 5 but you can't really moan about that.

An excellent game from every boy that played but Vinnie the destroyer won MOTM with an excellent goal scoring display. Definitely got an eye for goal.

This proves that a change of manager works wonders for a team 😀.

I'll make this the last post before I change the name to U8s. This will be our 3rd season together and the competition for places is outstanding.

Well done to all the kids and parents for making it such an easy team to manage.

Once I work out how to add admins, Charlie and Jason will also be able to post from the page so will hopefully see more activity.

We have our football section AGM on the 1st August and I would strongly recommend that as many of you as possible attend. This coming season we will be looking to be more involved with the club and add some team bonding nights to the calendar for parents and players.

Here's to another season of progression and fun in football for all involved.

Well done to the kids today. We played a very decent team that said it was the hardest game they've had all season.

The progression has been amazing to see all season and from how we started to where we are now is very encouraging.

I'm proud to have managed such a great group of kids and the parents have been the most supportive and helpful I could've hoped for. As you all know I'll be stepping down for next season but will still be involved as much as I can so you can't get rid that easily. We still have a presentation and a few tournaments in the summer to do before we go into U8s.

Jason and Charlie have been a massive help and will push the team on further next season. I'm positive the kids will turn into a very good side with them involved. Good luck to Jason Binns who will be managing the team officially from 6th June.

Riley Moore won MOTM with an excellent display again. Every single player was outstanding today and Rylie Steers surprised us all with some excellent trickery with the ball. Charlie also spent more time on the floor than the kids in another good display as referee.

Well done to all.

Saturday's game was very impressive from the kids. The way they're trying to play football is surprising me and the improvements they are making bodes well for the future.

Excellent performances from every player and I love the hunger and determination they have when playing the game.

Oscar Shipwright has been outstanding all season and scored some very good goals including a few hat tricks. He won MOTM for the first time on Saturday and it was long overdue. Definitely a player that will stand out in future.

Tonight's training was also impressive. The kids learned the Cruyff turn for the first time and we were even able to add in some progressions because they picked it up so quickly. Well done kids and especially to Corey Shaw who won the training trophy.

We had our first tournament on Saturday and it went really well. Although there were some very good teams in the competition we held our own and really gave some good performances.

Well done to all the kids that played and I hope you enjoyed it.

Everybody played their part in how well we performed but Jack Farmer was immense in every game and is looking like a future captain. Some excellent saves from Henry in goal as well who is also looking to be quite a player.

After having no matches or training for a few weeks, we started the game very slowly yesterday and allowed the other team too much time on the ball.

It only lasted the first quarter though and we got better and better as the game went on.

Some excellent tactical knowledge from assistant manager Jason Binns, lead to the goal from Rylie Steers. A beautiful cross from Oscar for Harry to tap a pass to Rylie for an easy finish.

As the weather gets better now the kids will hopefully have more opportunities to develop by playing outside often.

All the kids played well yesterday and some excellent performances once we got going. MOTM though was Rylie Steers. His tenacity and quick feet was invaluable in waking us up. Well done Rylie, keep it up.

Good to see the kids trying out their new skills on Saturday and trying to pass the ball around.

We need to start working on concentrating while the game is being played, though and will hopefully make a difference in some results.

Everybody played well and battled hard as usual but Riley Moore won MOTM with an excellent performance in defence.
