🏏 WESTCROFT CRICKET CLUB — STILL HERE. STILL STANDING. STILL WCC.

They dug up our pitch.

They tried to destroy a cricket ground built through years of hard work, commitment and love for the game.

They disrupted our season and attempted to take cricket away from our players, our youngsters and our community.

But they did not destroy Westcroft Cricket Club.
WCC is a legacy!

A cricket pitch can be repaired. Grass grows again. A square can be rebuilt.

What cannot be dug up is the spirit of a club and its legacy in the community.

The vandalism only showed us how much WCC means to people. The support we received from players, volunteers, neighbouring clubs, the wider cricket family and our community was extraordinary.

So, to whoever thought destroying our pitch would destroy our club:

You failed.

WCC survives.
WCC rebuilds.
WCC comes back stronger.

A fantastic day of cricket at the Bucks Women Cricket Cup, organised by the Buckinghamshire Cricket Board at Westcroft’s cricket club home ground . Teams showcased exceptional talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship, celebrating the growth of women’s cricket. Congratulations to all participants, volunteers, officials, and the deserving champions for making the tournament a memorable success. 🌟💙

🏏 Positive steps forward for Crown Hill Cricket Ground

​Today, Westcroft Cricket Club executives (Mr Shahid Amin, Mr Kashif Zaman, Mr Zain Mahmood, and Chaudhry Asghar Ali) met with Councillor Kunal Puri to address ongoing issues at our ground.
​It was a highly productive session. Councillor Puri listened closely to our concerns and has committed to urgently raising these matters with the relevant authorities to push for a swift resolution.
​Our priority is always to provide a safe, high-quality environment for everyone who uses the ground. Thank you, Councillor Puri, for your time and vital support. We look forward to working together for the benefit of our club and the wider community! 🙌
