MATCH REPORT U13S
Today our u13s played there first home game of the season against Darlington young bulls the game got underway with both teams battling very well cargo fleet where on top but just couldn’t find the net the game was even until 15 minutes in kilo got himself in space and got past 3 defenders and slotting home to make it 1-0 cargo fleet it was a very end to end game in the first half

Second half got under way and a brilliant attack down the right hand side seen the ball come across the box and unfortunately a Darlington player put it in his own goal making it 2-0 the game got back underway and cargo fleet kept putting pressure on and before they new it the hard work paid off and got them self a 3rd Emmanuel getting on the score sheet 3-0 cargo fleet Darlington keep fighting and an advantage played by the referee seen Darlington come forward with a great strike that worked its way into the the bottom corner 3-1 cargo come again and Darlington with a great defence kept cargo out and some great saves from Darlingtons keeper kept it at 3-1 but eventually cargo fleet found space and Emmanuel in the right place at the right time found himself tapping home and making it 4-1 cargo fleet

⚽ Cargo Fleet U14s 5–0 Billingham Synthonia U14s ⚽

Not the easiest game for the lads today, with the windy conditions and smaller goals making things difficult from the start.

Despite the challenging conditions, the lads kept their focus and worked hard to come away with a 5–0 victory. 💪

Ste opened the scoring, followed by goals from Riley and Dec. Ste then grabbed his second before Riley completed the scoring with his second of the game. ⚽️⚽️

A great team effort from the lads to get the win and keep a clean sheet! 👏

MATCH REPORTS U16S

Under 16s Match Report

Game was evenly matched during the first 5 minutes. Leven managed to create the first chance of the game from a corner. From the resulting corner and poor defending by the team, Leven went 1-0 up.
Straight from the resulting kick off Cargo went on the attack and a cross come shot from Saxon and a fumble from the keeper the ball ended in the back of the net, 1-1.
The game again was evenly matched but, the boys started losing their individual battles.
Leven went on the attack and Cargo made a silly mistake and gave away a free kick for handball. From the resulting free kick, Leven we set up for a rebound off the keeper and that’s what happened a tap in to make it 2-1.
10 minutes later Leven managed to get another corner and made it 3-1 (no body marking up and a free header).
With a minute to go until half time, from our own free kick, Leven keeper collected the ball and route one from the keeper made it 4-1 at half time.

After out half time team talk about losing individual battles and the attitude was all wrong from the team. They were asked to go out and win their own battles and show a much better attitude. Both teams created chances in the second half and some better decision making from the boys,(holding onto the ball for far too long or trying to be a world be**er). The boys did win they own individual battles and attitude was better, but the game was lost in the first half.

MATCH REPORT U9S

Cargo Fleet U9s vs Hartlepool St Francis Royals.

Cargo started off very quickly with a well worked team goal passing from the back through midfield and to the front who finished with a tidy finish!

Cargo then pressed on with multiple goals in the first half again worked well by the team.

Hartlepool did manage to get a goal which came from a long kick from their goal keeper to their attacker who hit a high ball from the half way line. Cargos keeper got a hand to it but not enough to keep it out of the net.

2nd Half - Fleet started on the front foot again with some very quick attacking goals and some fantastic saves from the Hartlepool St Francis Team aswell. Cargo finished the game off comfortably with a great display of passing and attacking football.

21st allstars ace u9s vs Cargofleet allstars u9s 💛💙
Today we made the trip to Darlington for a away game against a tough 21st allstars for the first 10 minutes it was end to end football then Cargofleet allstars put the pressure on and got a really well earned goal after that goal Cargofleet allstars put more pressure on and made a more comfortable lead going into the second half 21st allstars started off the better team then a goal of they own due to lack of concentration from Cargofleet after that goal it was end to end both teams having really good chances battling untill the final whistle 👌💙💛

U10S MATCH REPORT

Today we visited Middleton Rangers. The lads and lasses knew it was going to be a tough game as these are the best side to have remained in our league. We started well and scored a good goal from kick off. Middleton then controlled the game for the majority but Ethan was holding the ball up so well and running the defence ragged- unlucky to not score a second. Eventually Middleton scored the equaliser and they were on the front foot. It was back and forth throughout the first half and eventually we conceded a second- through no fault of our own.

The half time team talk was about keeping our cool and playing our game. Second half was immense from us. Alex again capitalised on the battling from the top end of the pitch and we were pushing the agenda. The second half was end to end action. Not much control in the game but so many chances for both teams. Middleton got their nose in front with 4 to go and from then it was all hell for leather. With the last kick of the game Alex scored a beauty free kick.

Fantastic game from both teams today and a good advert for U10s football. Plenty of goals and the game played in great spirit.

U11S MATCH REPORT

Today we come up against a good team in Hardwick we’ve played them a few times preseason but today was always going to be different and the kids knew that !

We started strong good passing and high pressing, it wasn’t long before the pressure become to much for Hardwick and we went and scored our first, shortly after that we went on to make it 2-0.

Second half was fairly quite a few end to end battles but nothing major defensively really strong midfield strong attack strong overall good performance from everyone

💛💙Cargo u11’s Allstars v Hartlepool stags💛💙

So today wasn’t the result we wanted but the team still gave it 100% which is all we ever ask for. They started off being pretty evenly matched before Hartlepool took the lead. Then kicking the game back off the boys seemed to settle down more leading to an equaliser within a few minutes. Then at the restart these boys took control immediately leading to them taking the lead going into half-time. Coming back out there heads dropped a bit after Hartlepool then equalised and the boys just seemed to struggle after that. Overall they gave it their all like they always do and still came off the pitch smiling.

Cargo fleet u14’s vs Whitby fisherman

Cargo started off on the front foot with Kenton scoring a long range goal from outside the box after some tidy football. Straight after the restart, cargo piled on more pressure , didn’t let Whitby get out of there half and again after some tidy football Steven managed to get himself on the score sheet with a tidy finish. Cargo were relentless on the attack and shortly added a 3rd with Levi tapping in from close range. Whitby then won themselves a corner and got themselves a goal back with poor defending from cargo fleet. Then on, cargo knew they had to switch on, with some great football down the left hand side, George managed to get the ball right across for Steven to header in his second of the game. Yet again, cargo piling on the pressure , Declan picked up the ball from just passed half way line dribbling it past 3 or 4 people to put the game to bed. After a few attacks from cargo we won our selves a corner , which Kenton put away from a lovely cross of Declan. Cargo got another corner with was delivered in nicely from Kenton which George struck and hit Whitby defender and went in.

U15s vs Belmont united
Our 1st game back was a nice drive out to Durham and we didn't get the result we wanted . Both teams struggled throughout the game to find there feet . We snuck in front with a goal that Will lankshear would have been proud of with Ollie W been in the right place at the right time for a tap in from around 6yds. But we lost our focus and conceded 2 before half time . Then we won a corner off our best play of the game and it was whipped in to the back post by Kaydan B and there defender couldn't do nothing about it and it came off him to make it 2-2. Belmont kept at us with a long ball and caught us out scoring the winner from a ball over the top.

U16s match report ✍️

Well were to start today 2 1 win for the lads not going to lie not the best we can play but we just keep playing as a team keep believing in me and adam.

Freddie on the score sheet ⚽️ puts cargo 1 nil up with a lovely though ball off noah, Freddie really settled in the team and with the lads too,
Around about the 30 to 35 minutes mark the other team got one back making it 1 1,

half time came round the score was 1 1

Cargo were on the back foot for around 15 to 20 minutes till the lads started to pass the ball and play football just like there know they can, cargo started getting through on goal with 1 or 2 chances to take the lead but failed, then with the game been played in the middle of the park cargo got themselves a corner around the 75th minute, with a really good corner put in from alife w then there was callum to meet it with a header at the back post 2 1 cargo fleet u16, for the last 5 minutes cargo had to dig deep and see out the game and get the result, 2 1 cargo fleet 🟡🔵🟡🔵

U11, U11A’s & U13 - Match Report - Sunday 6th September 2026 ✍🏽

Cargo Fleet U11s VS Newton Aycliffe U11s

Us managers couldn’t of asked for a better game they all done unbelievable and left there hearts on that pitch.

Straight from the get go our team knew what to do put pressure on them and retaliate once NEWTON messed up to attack it the whole first half was CARGO attacking and attacking. Our first goal came from a beautiful run by Bobby who slotted it into the box for a finish off Ollie, straight after that they was many chances just couldn’t find the net until Ollie Bobby Lincoln & Blaine had a unbelievable pass & play moment which Blaine slotted the ball bottom left.

2nd Half started and was back and forth from CARGO and NEWTON with 7 minutes to finish NEWTON put the ball at the back of our net bringing them back into it. Straight after CARGO knew they had to do something which led to Ollie taking it around 3/4 players to placing it bottom right with 30 seconds left of the game.

Unbelievable to see our kids put so much effort in and made sure we got that win. On to the next one 💪🏽⚽️

Cargo fleet u11’s Allstars v Billingham Juniors

So for these lads it was their first game of the season as well as being new to the club. As always every time they play they make us proud and make us love what we do for the team.
So we started with playing some great football, passing when they needed to pass, getting into space waiting for the ball then for some reason the passing just disappeared from the game!! We dropped off and struggled to get back into the game. Unfortunately the kids didn’t get the result they wanted but they still put their all into it which is all we ever ask. They started to come back towards the end of the game where they managed to bag a goal.

Parents Player of the match goes to Johan. Today he was absolutely outstanding. He was like a one man wall in defence every ball that came to him he cleared, made some amazing tackles. For example he tracked back, caught the player up and put in a mint slide tackle 🏆👏

Managers Player of the match went to Caden. Today I don’t think this lad stopped, he ran his little legs off for his team, beating the midfielders and helping the attackers to get him back and beating the midfielders yet again to help with the defenders. Couldnt of asked for more from him today🏆👏

Sunday 6th september 2026

Today our u13s in a new division travelled to Redcar Athletic a team we've never played before well straight from the off our boys dominated the play and found our self's a goal to the good with a lovley run by Kilo who put the ball across the face of the goal as jayden was arriving in the box he hit the ball towards goal and Eman tapped it in great play by the boys. We didn't stop there we kept pressing and creating chances but unfortunately off a corner we give away a pen to make it 1-1 half time

2nd half we made a few changes as the kids done a 8.5 mile walk from the Club House to Redcar that didn't stop us and fair play to the team who battled with Kilo running towards the box you know they is a great chance of a goal and what did he do put the ball away 1-2 it was a well battled 2nd half from both teams putting a 100 percent effort in what a watch as the time was running out our lads battled well to keep the lead and found our self's on a break to score our 3rd goal of the game with a lovley finish by Eman for his 2nd 🟡🔵

Well done Jayden who got man of the match by us he was fantastic today moving the ball taking it in his stride and covering every inch of the grass today.

Well done Kilo who got man of the match of their manager he was brilliant the ball control and the pace this lad has got is amazing took his goal well and took it on him self to drop back in centre midfield and see out the game and putting his body on the line for his team great effort well done

U8as MATCH REPORT Today marked a big moment for our Cargo Fleet Juniors U7s as they played their first league game of the season! 🔵🟡

The result might not have gone our way, but there were plenty of positives to take from the game. The lads kept going from the first whistle until the last, showed some great attacking football and managed to score 5 brilliant goals. 👏⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️
For many of the boys, this is still the very beginning of their football journey. Every match is about learning, improving, gaining confidence and, most importantly, enjoying their football

Even when the goals were going in against us, the team never gave up. They continued trying to pass the ball, get forward and help each other out — exactly the attitude we want to see. 💪

UNDER 8s match report✍️| sunday 6th september 2026

Back to league action today against a very well organised darlington fc feethams.
The game started off amazing, both teams really pushing hard for the 1st goal. End to end for most of the first half until feethams broke through with a thunderbolt of a strike from the edge of our box and took the lead.
2nd half.... again both teams were playing some amazing football using strength, team work and solo ability to try and win the game. You could see why feethams won their division last year and their experience showed scoring a few more goals.
Cargo fleet lads came off the pitch knowing they give it their all, coach is very happy with their performance and hard work.
A fantastic game of football to start the league off.
Good luck to darlington feethams in future games.

U9s MATCH REPORT

U9s Cargo Fleet vs Greatham FC.

An early start in Hartlepool for the U9s who travelled to Greatham away. The hosts had went all season unbeaten last season so the game had the hallmarks for a really competitive challenge.

Cargo started off incredibly with a fantastic well worked team goal within the first 2 minutes of the game put away nicely by Reggie. Greatham answered back shortly before half time through a defensive mistake that their striker capitalised on. This kicked Cargo into gear second half and they seemed to just increase their work rate, fight and determination. Cargo got themselves into the lead through a brilliant individual goal from Braelyn who then ran through most of the Greatham team from defence and slot one into the back of the net, from there cargo got into their stride and scored a couple more goals, one being a first league game and first goal for Eisa. Cargo start their season off to a cracking start.

Well done to both teams and best of luck to Greatham for the reason of the season.

Really good competitive game against Riverside Juniors girls. 1st half the home team came out flying. They knocked the ball round well and dominated the opening 25 mins and scored some great team goals.

After a chat we were on the front foot and created many chances with Alex ⚽️⚽️ and Jude ⚽️

With 5 mins to go it was about game management and riverside were pushing.

Massive shoutout to their young midfielder who scored an absolute screamer to get them their winning goal.

Cargo on the losing side but massive character to come from behind. Great competitive game. As a neutral it was a fantastic watch

Just want to say a massive well done to our u13s who walked from our Club House all the way to Redcar the boys and girl done a amazing and completed the walk within 2 and half hours. What a team bounding session before their big game tomorrow 👏

Cargo Fleet U9 Allstars | Friendly Report ✍️

The U9 Allstars travel locally to North Ormesby U9 for their final pre season preparations.

The fleet got off to a flying start and within minutes took an early lead through some tidy play from the team. They then capitalised on this pressure and bagged a couple of more goals following this with Tommy slotting away some great efforts into the hosts net.

Doggy boys did grab a well worked goal just before half time to show Cargo Fleet that they were still in the game.

2nd Half Cargo Fleet continued their dominance and who else but Tommy to convert some more well worked chances and a well spirited effort for the Fleet. North Ormesby did convert another chance but not enough to stop a strong, competitive, dominant Fleet on the night.

Huge shout out to Tommy with his Goals ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️& Melvin for his hard work.

A great performance to hopefully kick on their season on Sunday.

🏆 U14 Mount Pleasant Tournament Champions! 🏆

An outstanding tournament from the lads, capped off with a hard-fought final against Redcar Town and a well deserved 2-0 victory. 💪⚽

The team showed quality, determination, and discipline throughout the tournament, conceding just two goals across all matches. A fantastic defensive effort combined with some excellent attacking football.
