Pools Youth vs Prissick ⚽
First game back of the season and what a way to get started!
We made the trip to Pools with just two substitutes against a full squad of 20, having not played a competitive game since June. Despite that, the lads put in a fantastic shift from start to finish.
We got the first goal through Calum, who found himself just over the halfway line. What was probably intended as a cross turned into an absolute beauty as the ball bounced over the keeper and into the net! 🎯🔥
The game was evenly matched throughout, with both teams creating chances. Pools managed to find the equaliser before half-time, making it all square at the break.
The second half saw plenty of effort from both sides, but neither team could find that winning goal. It certainly wasn't for the lack of trying!
A great game for both teams and a brilliant test for our lads in their first game back. Every player worked incredibly hard and should be really proud of their effort and attitude.
