Middlesbrough District U13 💙❤️

A little later than usual! 😅 The girls have been absolutely non-stop over the last week, packing in friendlies against Normanby U13 Girls and Billingham Boys U12. ⚽️

BUT… HUGE NEWS! 🚨

A MASSIVE WELL DONE to two girls who have been with this team from DAY ONE — Elsie Wilson & Jazmin Langan — on being selected for Middlesbrough District U13! 👏🔥

These two girls are absolutely amazing and we couldn’t be prouder.

ELSIE NEEDS NO INTRODUCTION! ⚡️
A fast-paced, skilful player who reads the game like a pro. This year she has already been given so many opportunities, and she continues to prove exactly why she deserves every single one of them. 👏

JAZMIN LANGAN — AN ABSOLUTE BRICK WALL! 🧱
Always a strong, defensive-minded player, Jazmin is fearless at the back and will happily throw herself into a 50/50 against boys a year older and come out on top! 💪

But what makes this even more special is these two together. ❤️

They work as an absolute unit. They always seem to know where the other one is on the pitch, they complement each other perfectly — and away from football, they're best friends too. 🥹⚽️

From being here since day one to now representing Middlesbrough District U13… what an achievement! 👏

⚽️ THE GIRLS HAVE BEEN BUSY! 🔥

It’s honestly been non-stop, with SO much happening both on and off the pitch that we’ve barely had chance to keep up! 😂

And we’ve got loads more exciting news to share over the next few days… 👀

And then there’s everything that’s been happening on the pitch…

Two fantastic friendlies against talented, welcoming sides with some brilliant and respected managers, followed by a tournament playing a year up.

The girls battled their way through the tournament and then, in the final, found themselves with no subs and no goalkeeper… and still, without a shadow of a doubt, looked like one of the strongest teams there! 🔥

These girls genuinely never seem to stop surprising us. Different challenges, different circumstances, and they just get on with it.

They’re making memories, collecting experiences and continuing to show exactly what they’re capable of. ❤️💙

And we’ve got plenty more to come… 👀⚽️

🏆 Another Trophy in the Cabinet! 🏆

We’ve been a bit quiet on socials lately (holidays + chaos 😅), and the 3v3 got moved, plus a sneaky schedule change vs Hartlepool… but that certainly didn’t stop the girls out! 💪😂

Last Sunday we headed to the Whitby Gala — and what a day! 🎡⚽

The girls bagged ANOTHER trophy 🏆 and then backed it up with a brilliant friendly vs Hartlepool U13s. Special shoutout to Harper who arrived like she owned the place… and smashed in a hat-trick on debut! ⚽⚽⚽😎

Whitby was unreal — football, live bands, rides, food… basically a football festival with extra chaos 🍔🎶🎢

After a tough first game loss, the girls flipped the switch 🔥 and went unbeaten the rest of the way, playing some brilliant football and showing serious grit, teamwork and “we’re not done yet” energy 💙❤️

Absolute wall in goal 🧤😤
Saved everything that came her way, pulled off some unbelievable stops, and kept the team calm under pressure. Her communication from the back was outstanding, constantly organising, encouraging, and lifting everyone around her 👏
Brave off her line, quick to react, and so composed with the ball at her feet — proper leader’s performance from start to finish 💙
Massive presence, massive personality, and a huge reason the girls went on that unbeaten run 💪

Another day, another trophy, and a lot of laughs along the way ❤️💙🏆⚽

🏆❤️ SEASON 25/26 DONE ❤️🏆

What a brilliant presentation night to celebrate an incredible season for our girls.

A fantastic evening full of games, cheers, tears, pizza... and plenty of dancing! 💃 Of course, the dance floor was started by one of our own, Orla! 😂

It was lovely to look back on everything these girls have achieved this season. Just one league defeat all season is an unbelievable achievement, especially when every year we lose players to academies and welcome so many new faces. We almost become a brand-new team every season.

This year we brought in five new players, and every single one of them has been an incredible addition—not only fantastic footballers but gorgeous kids too. ❤️💙

❤️ Sophie (Elsie's mam) – thank you for being my absolute rock all season. You're the heart behind this team, and I honestly couldn't have done it without you.

🏆 Award Winners

🥇 Rebeka – Players' Player

An award chosen by the girls themselves, which makes it even more special. Rebeka is an absolute unit on the pitch, cool, funny, and such a massive part of this team. So well deserved!

🥇 Elsie – Manager's Player

Without doubt the most successful season I've seen from any player who's been part of my team. Spotted by Borussia Dortmund coaches, selected for Durham Academy, our top goalscorer, and a true captain. Most importantly, she's loved by everyone she meets. A very special player.

🥇 Jazmin – Sunday's Players' Player

I'm absolutely buzzing for Jaz. She works her socks off every single game, keeps improving week after week, and always gives 100% for the team.

Finally, to every single girl who has represented Middlesbrough Girls this season... thank you. You've given us memories we'll never forget—from travelling to Spain to lifting trophies and everything in between. It's been one amazing journey. ❤️💙

❤️💙 Dormanstown Tournament 💙❤️

Last weekend the girls headed to the Dormanstown boys' tournament for another brilliant day of football. ⚽

The football was great, but more importantly the girls continued to grow together as a team. Between games there were football challenges, TikToks, ice creams, cartwheels and plenty of smiles. Days like these are about making memories as well as playing football. 🍦🤸‍♀️🎥

The girls got better and better as the tournament went on. A brilliant penalty from our newest player, Neave, sent us into the main final. What a moment for her! 👏❤️

Although the wind made the final difficult for both teams, the girls gave everything they had and battled right until the final whistle. We couldn't have asked for any more.

🏆 Girl of the Tournament – Viola 🏆

Viola grew into the tournament with every game she played. Once she's at full speed, she's difficult to stop. She's quick, skilful, has a fantastic strike and works her heart out every single game. She listens, learns and takes on new ideas with ease, and this award was thoroughly deserved. ❤️💙

A nice surprise at the presentation too! We hadn't realised there was another trophy waiting for us, so it was a lovely moment seeing Rebeka lift it on behalf of the girls. 🏆❤️💙

We'd also like to give a big shout-out to Dormanstown Girls U13s. Our girls had a great laugh together throughout the day and cheered each other on from the sidelines. It's always great to see girls supporting girls. 💙❤️

Absolutely buzzing! 🤩

The girls have won a competition to receive a FREE team kit from Lalo Sports! 🔥👏

We've used Lalo Sports for years, and the quality has always been spot on. From bespoke football kits and training wear to printed towels, sliders and all sorts of team gear, they've always delivered fantastic products and great service.

The best part? The girls will be designing the kit themselves! 🎨⚽ It's a brilliant opportunity for them to get creative and make something that's unique to our team, and they're all so excited to get started. 😀

This will fit in perfectly with our collection ready for the new season, and we can't wait to see the finished design.

Another tournament awaits this Saturday as the girls head to the Dormanstown Boys Tournament! 💪⚽

It's an early start, and we're missing a few players this weekend, but that's the strength of this squad. Every player is capable of stepping up, and with so much quality and determination throughout the team, we're still heading there with a very strong squad. ❤️💙

This will be the first time the girls have entered this tournament, so it's another great opportunity to test ourselves, enjoy the experience, and keep building as a team. 💥

Now let's just hope the temperature is perfect for football and not too hot! ☀️😅

🔴🔵 TEESSIDE ETC SUCCESS! ❤️⚽

🔴🔵 Massive congratulations to two of our newest players, Maisey and Viola, on being selected for the Teesside FA Girls Emerging Talent Centre (ETC)! 👏⚽

❤️ What an incredible achievement!

To be selected from so many talented girls from across Teesside is something to be really proud of. The ETC is part of the FA's England talent pathway, giving players the opportunity to train in a high-performance environment alongside other talented footballers whilst continuing to represent their grassroots clubs.

🔴🔵 Viola is an exceptional talent with blistering pace, fantastic feet and a brilliant strike on goal. She has the ability to beat players with ease and create something out of nothing. Off the pitch she's one of the kindest girls you'll ever meet, always smiling, always respectful and an absolute pleasure to coach. ❤️

🔴🔵 Maisey might be small in stature, but she's an absolute powerhouse. Fearless, lightning quick and full of skill, she's a nightmare for defenders. Off the pitch she's a lovely, polite girl with a fantastic attitude. She works hard, listens, keeps learning and always gives everything for the team. She's the perfect example that heart, determination and character are just as important as ability. 💙

❤️ We're absolutely delighted to have both girls joining us next season. To already be achieving things like this before the season has even started shows the quality they'll be bringing into our squad.

Keep working hard, enjoy every minute and keep chasing your dreams. This is only the beginning, and we can't wait to see where football takes you both. 🌟
