Metheringham Swimming Pool Metheringham Swimming Pool - a heated lido - opens from April to Sept. It opens each April, for cold-water swims, and then is heated between May and September.

Activities include adult warm/cold-water swims, parent & child sessions, open swims, aqua zumba, swimming lessons & junior lifeguard training plus private hire for parties / occasions. Metheringham Swimming Pool is an outdoor, heated lido, based in the centre of the village. We offer open swims, parent and child sessions, aqua zumba, swimming lessons and junior lifeguard sessions as well as privat

e hire for parties and special occasions. The pool is run entirely by volunteers and the only paid staff are our team of professional lifeguards. 🌧️ A little rain? No problem at all!

Meg Pool does NOT close for rain — and honestly, our swimmers wouldn't have it any other way!

With our heated pool, swimming in the rain feels like being in a warm bath and shower at the same time 🛁 The kids absolutely love it (and secretly, so do the adults!).

Not a swimmer? No worries — there are sheltered areas on the poolside for spectators, so you can still come along and cheer everyone on ☂️

And afterwards? Treat yourself to one of our deluxe hot chocolates with marshmallows and cream from the Tuck Shop. Because you've earned it 🍫☕

Whatever the weather, we'll see you at the pool 💙

Book in one-hour sessions, starting on the hour. Spaces are currently available on all sessions 💙

📅 Saturday 6th June
🏊 All-age Open Swims — 1pm, 2pm & 3pm

📅 Sunday 7th June
👨‍👩‍👧 Parent & Child Swims — 10am & 11am (9 years & under with a parent)
🏊 All-age Open Swims — 2pm & 3pm

Want to swim for longer? You can book two sessions back-to-back if there's availability — just book both when you're online!

Online booking closes one hour before each session starts, after which we welcome walk-ins for any remaining spaces.

🌊✨ Something a little different in the pool this evening! Tula Therapy are hosting a Floating Sound Bath tonight — combining the weightlessness of floating on the water with the deep relaxation of a sound bath. Spaces for June, July and August are still available — link in comments to book! 🎶
