A brilliant Bank Holiday weekend for all the Martock Rovers teams at the Westland Sports Youth Tournament ! ⚽☀️

Every team gave it their all, played some fantastic football, and most importantly had great fun throughout the tournament.

The weather was extremely hot and sunny all weekend, making it feel like a proper summer football festival! 😎🌞

A huge thank you to Westland Sports Youth FC for hosting such a well organised and enjoyable tournament.

We’re incredibly proud of all our players and coaches for representing Martock Rovers so well across the Bank Holiday weekend! 💙⚽

⚽️ May Half Term Football Camps – NOW LIVE! ⚽

Saints Southwest excited to announce that their May Half Term Football Camps are officially LIVE and open for booking!

This May Half Term they are running 4 action-packed camps across three locations, giving young players the chance to develop their skills, make new friends and have loads of football fun during the holidays.

⚽ 2 Camps in Ilminster - Ilton Playing Fields, TA199HG - Monday 25th

⚽ 1 Camp in Yeovil - Bucklers Mead, BA214NH - Wednesday 27th

⚽ 1 Camp in Langport - Huish Leisure 3G, TA109SS - Thursday - 28th

This half term they are excited to run their first girls only football camp at Ilton, Ilminster. Giving girls an amazing day of coaching, fun and social interactions. Just £15 for the whole day! ⚽️

Saturday brought our best performance of the season 👏⚽

A big win, a clean sheet, brilliant football all over the pitch and a real team performance from start to finish! 💪

Honestly, Player of the Match could have gone to so many players this week…

🔥Player of the Match Martock U11s Missiles🔥

Thursdays match was a proper end-to-end battle with both teams going at it from start to finish - but one player really stood out 👏⚽

🌟 Josh was absolutely everywhere, involved in everything the team did both going forward and defensively.

💨 Constant running forwards and backwards
🛡️ Immense in defence
🎯 Phenomenal work rate

From the first whistle to the last, Josh gave the team energy, quality, and determination all over the pitch. A complete all-round performance and fully deserved Player of the Match! 👏💪

🔥 Players of the Match - U10’s Marvels 🔥

Another fantastic performance from the team today with effort and energy all over the pitch! 💪⚽

🌟 Shiv takes this week’s POTM after another amazing display from one of our most consistent players.

🏃 Every single game Shiv never stops running,
⚡ constantly hassling and pressing,
🛡️ winning tackles,
🚀 and starting attacks for the team.

It’s his unselfish play and work rate that really makes this team tick. A brilliant example for everyone out there 👏

👏 Huge shoutout as well to Haydn, whose positioning in central midfield was massively improved today. By staying behind the ball and attacking the space in front at the right times, he created some brilliant chances for himself and was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet!
