Our Under 8s kicked off their new campaign today with a fantastic performance from the entire team! โšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘

The work rate from all the players was incredible from the first whistle to the last. Everyone gave absolutely everything for the team, making it one of those games where POTM could genuinely have gone to any one of them! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ–ค

With so many great performances, choosing a POTM wasnโ€™t easy, but eventually the award went to our little speed demon, Samuel! โšก๏ธ๐Ÿ’จ

Samuel did exactly what was asked of him, putting in a brilliant defensive shift and working tirelessly for the team.

As the game went on, he really started to show what he could do going forward too โ€” driving runs, carrying the ball up the pitch and using that electric pace to cause problems.

And to top off a brilliant displayโ€ฆ he got himself on the scoresheet! โšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Another game, another magnificent performance from our stand-in goalkeeper, Shiv! ๐Ÿงค๐Ÿ‘

Whatever the team needs, Shiv is there. Heโ€™ll play anywhere on the pitch, always with a smile, always giving 100%, and most importantly, always putting the team first. ๐Ÿ’šโšฝ๏ธ

Stepping into goal once again, Shiv showed exactly the attitude that makes him such an important part of this team. ๐Ÿ’ช

As coaches, we genuinely canโ€™t speak highly enough of him. Heโ€™s an absolute pleasure to coach, and weโ€™re incredibly proud of the attitude he shows, the teammate he is, and everything he gives every time he pulls on the shirt.

What an achievement from our Martock Marvels, who finish an incredible Summer 7s campaign by lifting the League Cup after a thrilling 4-2 victory over East Coker Cockerels in the final! ๐Ÿ”ฅโšฝ

The Marvels went through the entire league winning EVERY game, and when it mattered most, they produced once again to finish the job and bring home the trophy! ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ’š

What has impressed us most throughout this tournament has been the incredible team spirit and selfless football from this group. Every single player has played their part, worked for their teammates and contributed to some fantastic football along the way. ๐Ÿ‘

A huge congratulations to our Martock Mavericks after a brilliant 3-1 victory over East Coker Rangers in the Summer 7s League Plate Final! ๐Ÿ”ฅโšฝ

An early away kick-off certainly didn't slow this team down, as the Marvels put in another superb performance to continue their fantastic pre-season form!

After building a strong lead, the team faced the added challenge of playing against 8 players for more than half the game โ€” but they stayed composed, worked hard for each other and kept going right until the final whistle. ๐Ÿ’ชโšฝ
