What can we say - over 140 of you turned out to make the Philip Jackson Shield community day such a massive success! Congratulations to team captain Chris Snell for taking the trophy this year - he might just about be recovered in time to defend it next year!

Thankyou to 2 Foot Moose for the awesome tunes to finish off the day in style, to ARVO Caffeine for keeping us caffeinated, to The Marquee Hire Company for the Epic marquee and bar set up, to all our wonderful sponsors who help keep the club going strong and to all our awesome volunteers who made the day possible!

The Philip Jackson Shield community day kicks of at 12:00 tomorrow, with a Fully stocked bar, Cracking rugby, food on the go and music to dance the night away!

Our final big announcement, and the one you've all been waiting for..... The team captains for tomorrow!

Rarely in the history of rugby have 2 such titans of the game faced one another as opposing captains. Seasoned veterans of Martock Rugby club, Legends in there own right both on and off the field, grizzled rugby men ready to give it all for a chance of winning the shield..... We give you.....

We're absolutely stoked to have 2 Foot Moose joining us to party the night away - and they know how a rugby crowd likes to party! They'll be live from 17:00, so plenty of time to wash off the rugby dust, strap up the war wounds and get your dancing shoes on!

Less than a week to go until the biggest date in the Martock RFC calendar - and you're all invited!

Saturday 9th of May from 12:00 onwards sees the epic return of the Philip Jackson shield Community day - and Martock Rec will be the place to be! With live Inter club rugby, full bar and marquee, food served for all and the fantastic band 2 Foot Moose to round off the day In style - this year is bigger and better than ever!

Everyone of all ages is invited, and the weather looks cracking - come on down and celebrate with us MRFC style!

Ps. We even hear the band are up for an exhibition scrum challenge against our front row...... How about it?
