Ingram Jones is the visionary behind Open Learning Cricket Academy Ltd, bringing over 25 years of international expertise to the crease. As a globally recognized High-Performance Cricket Architect, he specializes in designing elite talent pathways and technical frameworks that deliver immediate, championship-winning results.

Ingram’s coaching footprint spans successful, title-winning tenures across the globe.
Internationally, he served as the Lagos State Head Coach and Director of Cricket for ECSM Cricket in Nigeria, establishing a development pathway in Ikorodu that produced the inaugural 2026 T20 CCC Lagos Women's Champions.
His strategic leadership also secured the Cricket Victoria Men's One-Day and Two-Day League Championships for Bellfield Cricket Club in Australia, alongside extensive work with both the men's and women's national sides for Grenada Cricket.
Domestically, Ingram operates as a "Coach of Coaches," multiplying talent output for county infrastructures. His tactical preparation culminated in a historic six-title season in 2026. This included leading the Essex Metropolitan Under-14s to an undefeated T10 Regional Championship as Lead Coach, and guiding Old Dunstonians to the U13 Kent League Title as Junior Head Coach, while securing runner-up finishes with their U17s and a restricted 8-player U13B side. As a strategic consultant for South Woodford CC, he also oversaw youth structures that secured both U13 and U15 league titles.
Coaching Lineage & Foundations
Ingram’s deep tactical understanding of the game is rooted in his youth career playing against adults in the UK-based West Indian World League and the Clive Lloyd Cup. Shaped early on by playing for his father’s team, the Forest Guardians, and developing technically at Clayhall Cricket Club under Keith Hurst MBE and Joe Hussain, Ingram built a resilient, uncompromising approach to the sport.
His professional coaching journey began at the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground with Middlesex Cricket, earning his Level 1 certification under the mentorship of Toby Radford. He subsequently secured his Level 2 under Neil Rider and completed his CoachED Level 3 certification under the direct mentorship of World Cup-winning coach Gary Kirsten.

What sets Ingram’s programs apart is his multi-disciplinary approach to athlete development. With an advanced background in fitness and boxing instruction, alongside studies in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and trauma-informed coaching, he integrates the essential ingredients of elite success—mental resilience, extreme focus, and consistency—into every player's routine. He does not just build cricketers; he serves as a life coach and mentor preparing athletes for high-pressure environments.

Ingram is a prominent and trusted voice in global sports media, holding an Associate Degree in Journalism. He spent nearly two years as a weekly television and radio sports pundit in Nigeria, reaching an audience of over 200 million people with his insights. In the UK, his dedication to grassroots sports was formally recognized with the National Community Champion Award—a prestigious achievement broadcast on Sky Television to 8.5 million viewers, following a dedicated Sky mini-feature on his community impact.
