Two wins for both senior teams this evening.
Thanks to Leith Honeybadgers for their hospitality and invite this evening. Good luck for season ahead!

We welcomed FIFE STEEL BASKETBALL CLUB newly D4 squad to winchburgh. This was a slow start for both teams but as game progressed some great basketball play was on show. Mostly resulting in no baskets but occasionally we had some awesome baskets.

Thanks to fife for traveling through and best of luck in the season ahead.

Pre season preperation continues tomorrow.

Our D4 squad will host FIFE STEEL BASKETBALL CLUB newly entered B squad in SM LL league. Should be a great test for both teams heading into league which starts this Friday.

Our D3 squad travel to Leith Honeybadgers , The honeybadgers play in D2 LL and will be great test for our squad who will be looking to better last seasons 3rd place finish and aim to be promoted to D2.

Our U18s welcomed today for a pre season friendly. Competitive game throughout with Ayr taking win. Our lads continue to improve year on year and week on week over summer as the Lothian League campaign begins soon!

Good luck to Ayr as they tackle NL this season after winning their play-in.

2 pre season friendlies in bag
Our U18s trailed byb10 at half, Wolves pulled away in 3rd and prevailed as winners. Was great game & good basketball at both ends of court by both squads.

Our SM played a tough Colliers team and prevailed with 4 point DUB.

Next up is SM D3 VS Glasgow Eagles Basketball Club Monday 24th August!

First up for our Saturday friendlies is our U18s!

We welcome our neighbours .
This will be a challenging game for our young prospects, but playing against stronger opposition allows our players to have a goal to push towards. Most would think two local clubs would form a rivalry, this one is more a friendship. Two clubs, one aim. To promote basketball in a positive manner and allow opportunities in the community to play a sport we all love and enjoy. Basketball is more than a sport, its a tool which guides our young athletes to succeed in life. It helps grow social skills, teamwork, communication & much more.

Good luck to both teams, play your heart out & above all have fun!
