Week 1 - Brazilian Ball Mastery

Theme: Confidence on the Ball

Brazil has produced some of the most skilful players ever to play the game.

⚽ Creativity and flair

Players will be encouraged to express themselves, play with confidence and build a strong relationship with the ball using both feet.

Week 2 - Spanish Tiki-Taka

Theme: Pass & Move

Spain's success was built on intelligent movement, quick passing and teamwork.

⚽ Creating space

Helping players understand that great football isn't just about what you do when you have the ball, but what you do when you don't.

Week 3 - German Goals

Theme: Clinical Finishing

Germany have always been known for their efficiency and ability to score goals when it matters most.

Plenty of opportunities to smash the ball into the net and compete for the Golden Boot.

Week 4 - Dutch Total Football

Theme: Intelligent Footballers

The Netherlands revolutionised football with Total Football, where every player was comfortable in possession and understood multiple positions.

Ross's Freestyle Football Days are always among the highlights of the summer.

The day begins with a live freestyle performance before players take part in a freestyle workshop, learning new tricks and developing their ball mastery, coordination and creativity through hands-on coaching from Ross himself.

🔥 And of course, the famous Panna Arena returns!

Fast-paced 1v1 battles where the first player to 3 goals wins... or nutmeg your opponent for an instant victory.

⚽🌍 A Summer Camp Inspired By The World Cup 🌍⚽

We couldn't let Scotland's first World Cup appearance in almost 30 years pass without marking the occasion!

But rather than simply running a World Cup tournament every day, we've decided to do something a little different...

This summer, each week of camp will be inspired by a different footballing nation and the style of play that has made them famous.

Brazilian Ball Mastery – developing confidence, creativity, tricks and skills on the ball.

Spanish Tiki-Taka – quick passing, movement and combination play.

German Goals – finishing, shooting and scoring goals from all angles.

Dutch Total Football – intelligent movement, awareness and decision making.

Argentine Competitive Edge – determination, resilience and winning mentality.

French Speed & Power – pace, athleticism and explosive attacking play.

Each week, our coaching sessions, challenges and competitions will be built around these themes, giving players the opportunity to develop different aspects of their game while experiencing the footballing cultures that have shaped some of the world's greatest players.

Of course, we'll still be keeping a close eye on the World Cup itself, following Scotland's journey and soaking up all the excitement that comes with football's biggest tournament.

We can't wait to take our players on a footballing tour around the world this summer! 🌍⚽💚

At WLFA, our Tackling Tots sessions aren’t just about keeping toddlers busy for 45 minutes. They’re about building strong foundations from the very beginning — helping children develop confidence on the ball, coordination, balance, listening skills, social interaction and a genuine love for football and sport.
