You don’t have a motivation problem.

You have a “when I’m motivated I try to change my entire life overnight” problem.

Because when that motivation hits?

You’re doing EVERYTHING.

Your food is perfect.

You’re getting all your steps.

You’re training every week.

You’re convinced this time is going to be different.

Then you have a busy week.

You’re tired.

Work is stressful.

You don’t feel like doing half the things you promised yourself you would.

And suddenly you’re back to:

“Why can I never stay consistent?”

Because you’ve built a routine for the most motivated version of you.

Not the version who has a job, plans, stressful days and sometimes simply cannot be bothered.

You don’t need to become more motivated.

You need something that doesn’t fall apart when your motivation does.

It’ll help you stop the all-or-nothing cycle and build something you can actually stick to when real life gets in the way.

The fitter you get, the more everyone suddenly has an opinion.

You’re “too strict.”

You’re “always at the gym.”

You need to “live a little.”

And hear it enough times, you start questioning yourself.

So you skip things you wanted to do, eat things you didn’t even want and start changing your choices to make other people comfortable.

But you don’t need everyone to understand your goals.

Their opinion doesn’t need to become your decision.

Because funny how nobody had this many opinions when you were unhappy with yourself…

But the second you start doing something about it?

Everyone becomes an expert.

Let them.

You keep becoming the version of you that YOU want to be

You probably don’t need another 47 healthy recipes saved on Instagram.

You’re already overwhelmed trying to decide what to eat every week.

Then you convince yourself you need a completely different breakfast, lunch and dinner every day so you “don’t get bored.”

And suddenly eating towards your goal feels like a full-time job.

You don’t necessarily need more foods.

You need to stop making the foods you already like in exactly the same way every single day.

The same potato can be chips, mash, cubes, wedges, roasties…

Or, apparently, a burger 👀

A wrap doesn’t always have to be a wrap.
Eggs don’t always have to be scrambled.

The same yoghurt and protein tastes completely different when you change the flavour.

You can switch your meats around, season things differently, change textures, change combinations.
You don’t need a brand-new menu every week to enjoy your diet.

Keep the things that make it easy to stay consistent and change them enough that you still actually want to eat them.

Five months into basically the same foods and somehow I’m still finding new ways to emotionally damage a potato 🤣🤣🤣

You’ve been told “just hit your protein” so many times that now half your diet has PROTEIN slapped across the packet.

Protein bars.

Protein puddings.

Protein cookies.

Protein snacks.

And on paper?

They look great.

But hitting your macros and actually giving your body what it needs are two different things.

When you start building more of your diet around actual whole foods, suddenly…

Your meals are bigger and keep you fuller.

You’re less bloated.

You have more energy.

You’re not constantly craving something sweet.

And fat loss feels EASIER because you’re actually satisfied by the food you’re eating.

That doesn’t mean you can never have a protein bar again.

You don’t need to eat 100% whole foods.

The problem is when convenience becomes the majority of your diet.

Because your goal shouldn’t just be finding the lowest calorie thing with the most protein written on the front.

You want enough protein, carbs, fats, fibre and micronutrients from foods that actually fuel you, fill you up and make you feel GOOD.

So if you’re hitting your protein every day but you’re still bloated, hungry, low on energy and constantly craving something else…

Stop looking at just the protein number and start looking at where it’s actually coming from

You keep telling yourself:

“I’m just so inconsistent.”

But look at what you’re actually asking yourself to be consistent WITH.

4 workouts every week.

10k steps every day.

Perfect meals.

No takeaways.

No snacking.

All while working, having a social life and dealing with everything else life throws at you.

You manage it for a couple of weeks…

Life gets busy.

Something slips.

And immediately you use it as evidence that you’re the problem.

“I have no discipline.”

“I can never stick to anything.”

“I always give up.”

But maybe you don’t need to become more disciplined.

Maybe you need to stop building a routine that only works when you’re having a perfect week.

Your plan needs to survive the busy weeks.

The tired days.

The last-minute plans.

The days where motivation is nowhere to be found.

Because THAT’S where consistency is actually built.

You don’t need to change your entire life overnight to change your body.

You need something that actually fits into the life you already have

One thing going wrong has a habit of becoming EVERYTHING going wrong in your head.

You miss the workout.

Eat something you didn’t plan.

Your steps are lower than usual.

And suddenly you’re not thinking:
“Okay, how do I work around this?”

You’re thinking:
“Well, today’s ruined anyway.”

So one thing becomes five things.
Then a bad day becomes a bad weekend.
Then you’re waiting for Monday to start again.

When most of the time, the thing that went wrong really wasn’t that deep.

You just made it a national emergency in your head 😂

You don’t need everything to go perfectly to lose weight.
You need to get better at adapting when it doesn’t.

Because life is ALWAYS going to throw something at you

Sometimes apparently that something is locking your keys inside your car and spending 3 hours staring at them through the window.

Adapt. Carry on. Save the national emergency for an actual national emergency x
