Massive shout out to one of our members Elaine who took first place at the weekend body building competition in the category of figures first timers over 45 and also 3rd in masters over 35 . Elaine unbelievably is 54 years old . She is one determined strong lady . Well done Elaine !!

I had the honour of presenting an award at the Kelty coal race on Saturday.
It was my first time attending, and what a great day! A brilliant community event celebrating Kelty’s mining heritage, inspired by stories of miners racing home from the pits carrying bags of coal in the late 1800s.

A huge well done to everyone who took part, and to the organisers and volunteers who made it all happen. Thank you for having me , it was great to be part of it! 👏

A huge well done to Caitlin! 🏅

This year Caitlin took on the Edinburgh Half Marathon, raising money for a cause incredibly close to her heart.

She ran in support of her grandad, who sadly has Alzheimer’s, turning every mile into something that meant so much more than just crossing a finish line. ❤️

An amazing achievement, Caitlin, and we’re delighted to see you proudly wearing that medal at GRIT! 💪🏅
