🚨 We interrupt the usual Terrex programming… 🚨

The new Brooks Cascadia Elite has landed here in store, and we’re one of only a handful of stores in the UK to have it on the shelves.

This isn’t just another trail shoe. The weather’s finally looking settled, the fells are drying out, and this weekend is shaping up to be a good one for a lap of the Terrex Round. ☀️🏔️

As a little extra incentive, everyone who’s completed the Terrex Round so far has automatically been entered into a prize draw to win a pair of adidas Terrex Agravic TTs, kindly supplied by Terrex.

If you haven’t had a crack at it yet, there’s still time. Complete the round before Monday and you’ll be entered into the draw too.

No Strava? No worries. Pop into the shop for a map, send us a DM, or drop us an email and we’ll send over the GPX file.

The Terrex Round leaderboard is starting to take shape… but there’s still plenty of room for new names. 👣

A few important reminders before you set off:

📍 Start and finish at the gorilla outside Kong Running (not the bakery up the road, however tempting the pastries may be).

🔄 The route must be completed anti-clockwise.

📲 Download and follow the EXACT Strava Segment route. We’ve had a few GPS tracks that haven’t matched the official route, which means they unfortunately can’t be counted towards the prize fund.

This summer, we’re throwing down a challenge for the local running community… and there’s £2,000 up for grabs. 🤑

Fastest male and female times take home £500 each… but there’s a twist:

Run the winning time in the official challenge shoe — the Agravic TT — and the prize doubles to £1000. 💸😱

Keswick Mountain Festival starts this Friday, and Keswick’s about to get busy 🏃‍♂️⛰️

🗣️ We’re extending our opening hours until 20:30 on Friday 15th May, so there’s extra time to grab any last-minute race kit, fuel, or just have a browse before the weekend gets underway.

Big effort. Bigger reason. 🙌🏼

This Friday at midnight, local runner Will Brown takes on the Bob Graham Round — all in support of local charity .

Here at Kong Running, we’re all about backing people who push themselves — especially when it’s for something bigger than themselves, and close to home.

demo night at Kong Running next Thursday evening 👟

We’ll have demo pairs of the new Reverence 2 and Reverence SL available to try on the uphill club champs night with .

Open to all and first come, first served, so swing by from 5pm, grab a pair and get stuck in.

If you fancy taking on the uphill time trial, the route runs from the store to the summit of Walla, with start times between 6pm and 7pm.

And if an uphill race effort isn’t your thing, we’ll also be heading up for an easy social pace run for 6.30pm to the top of Walla and back, so either way there’s something for everyone.

Then head back to the shop afterwards for some food on us and a chance to chat shoes, racing and all things fell running with the Ronhill team and the local crew.
