Just a quick update: I’ve now had my second hip replacement operation this year and hope it’s my last! I’m making a good recovery and yesterday managed Walla Crag just 16 days after the op. Larry has been very patient over the best part of two years so it’s good to be able to look forward to getting out with him on a regular basis.
I’m a few weeks away from full recovery but 2023 should be much more active. Any clients old or new wanting a day or two in the fells please get in touch.

My first post on here in ages! I’ve been injured but hopefully on the mend now. Two new clients were delighted to explore the Blawith Fells and in particular the lovely Beacon Tarn and Fell. Larry enjoyed his day too but needed lots of cooling dips.

I seem to be getting some likes on this page, which you may have noticed I haven’t used very much since the start of lockdown. I’m not sure why this is, but I’ll try to put some pictures on here as well as my personal page. Thanks!

Geese on Lord’s Island yesterday morning. So calm and in all other respects peaceful! Larry’s oblivious, however!

Surprisingly good skiing above Glen Feshie today!

Trying to remember how to ski today - plus using skins and ski crampons. Fun stuff! @ Cairngorm Mountain

Today on Braeriach via the Chalamain Gap. Very windy on the way up but some good hard snow. Hardly saw anybody all day - was following a guy but was about to say hello at the top when he walked off, and a couple following me out of the Lairig Ghru just disappeared. All very odd! Six and a quarter hours. @ Cairngorms National Park
