The laughter around the festival site. The climb you've been looking forward to all year. Crossing a finish line. Discovering a new trail. Catching up with old friends. Watching the sun set over the fells with live music in the background.

That's what Thule Keswick Mountain Festival is all about.

We're delighted to announce that we'll be back from 21–23 May 2027, and we'd love you to join us for another unforgettable weekend celebrating everything we love about the outdoors.

Some people measure success by finish times. Others by finishing at all.

When Gail Bebbington took on the Keswick Mountain Festival 25k in May, she was running for a cause close to her heart, raising funds for Windyways Animal Sanctuary.

Just over six miles into the race, Gail suffered a serious fall on a descent, breaking her shoulder in five places and dislocating her upper arm.

Most people would have called it a day.

Instead, supported by fellow runners, and marshals, Gail dug deep and completed the remaining nine miles to cross the finish line - where she was then looked after by our medical team.

Since then, Gail has undergone successful shoulder replacement surgery and is now recovering at home.

Her message to us? She'll be back on the start line in 2027 for her own personal closure.

Gail, we're in awe of your courage, grit and determination. The entire KMF community wishes you a full recovery, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Keswick next year. ❤️

I can’t believe it’s already been a week since Keswick Mountain Festival!

With that in mind, I’ve got two questions for you…

What was your favourite part of the festival?! Sports? Speakers? Food? Friends?

Will I see you next year? If so, have you got your eye on any particular event?!

Oh yeah, and as a bonus third question… where was this weather last week?! Have an awesome bank holiday everyone!

The Festival may have come to a close, but the memories are still very much alive.
