It was an honour to take part in this at the beginning of the week, helping to educate children and their teachers about what we do in the countryside and why it’s so important.

It was fantastic to meet so many enthusiastic young people, and they were all an absolute delight to talk to. Their curiosity, thoughtful questions, and eagerness to learn made the day incredibly rewarding.

A big thank you to everyone involved in organising such a worthwhile event. It’s so important to help bridge the gap between the countryside and the classroom, giving the next generation a better understanding of where their food comes from and the work that goes into caring for our landscapes.

Just completed this today.
To go along with my human & forestry first aid & lone worker first aid qualifications, human sports injury therapist & equine and canine massage.
Last time I was at Twemlows I was doing my equine AI qualification that was a few years ago!

For sale a novice test bridesmaid dress 👗!
Entered the Burns & Becks open walked up on ft lines test.
First 5 retrieves only used my whistle once, recall as couldn’t see him and no guide on where he was then he appeared then hunted to side went out of sight then came back with dummy. Had a couple more retrieves where he was out of sight and just had to trust him and leave him. He obviously does much better when I don’t interfere with him!
After 5th retrieve we were called in to final 5 to go for 6th retrieve. All of us to walk in a line for a mark. We were 2nd in line all walking together. 1st dog got called up and I was sent. I had him too deep and he flushed a pheasant he looked at it go then put his head back down to work. He worked his way forward. I stopped him to send back but then thought he knows better so hunted him and he worked forward and picked 🤦‍♀️ (specsavers appointment booked)! The other 3 picked theirs and test over.
Delighted he got awarded 3rd place. So he can’t run in novice tests anymore.
Great club, test & ground.

Ha cast not stopping keeping my claws 💅 on point 😂👌 (though I can’t do that 👌 with hand 🤦‍♀️)
Dogs have just about got use to it rather than side eyeing it when I’ve been pointing out! Bet they will just get use to it then next cast gets put on! We are adaptive if nowt else!
