Was very pleased with how he went. First test he went in we could/should have done better but first of the year, so getting back into the swing of it! But he did 19, 18, 18, 19. Would be good enough at most test but Claire did better and won well done (we did let you push in so we helped you😂).
Onwards to the next. He’s not one for posing when he’s wanting his supper!

Fantastic couple of days training up at Emblehope. Very sad it’s possibly the last time as the RKC has chosen to sell it after near 10 years. Raymond and Anne have achieved so much on the ground and always made us welcome going above and beyond. Brilliant little group to be training with Big D & Geert. I’d be tempted to say too many laughs but nah! Top craic. Dogs worked really hard.

Little Sunday afternoon fun! Myself & 5 guys and I got nominated to turn round and reverse the trailer down track 💪👌😂. Think we all escaped without major injuries bar a few scratches and I broke a nail at the end 🤦‍♀️😂and I can not recommend doing pheasant Pilates 🙈😂 Top team effort. Just call us Rocky! Preparation for next season.

Well that’s another season completed. Thank you to the 4 estates for the privilege to pickup on. The invite from friends to theirs and the days I have taken with friends around the country. Dogs have worked hard. Though we will have a lil respite it won’t be long till the behind the scenes unseen hard work starts again. The laughs yesterday be some sore heads today I imagine.

Soggy long day for some of gang today. Quick hot wash down at end and rug up siccaro Siccaro siccaro_working_dogs makes sure they clean and dry on arriving back. Look after them like the athletes they are.

51 pheasant fell from the sky yesterday. This morning less than 45 min breasted & vac packed. 6 breasts a pack.
All about the team work! I split while Tony then breasted and vac packed them. I probably slowed him down!

Fantastic day again. Thank you Richard Warburton for my invite again. Bonus points for making the rain hold off for all but 1 of the drives. Great day & craic as always. Shot my best pheasant of this season and last couple too. And a sneaky pigeon! Great to catch up with all the team again.
