Northumberland National Park is a great place for you and your dog to enjoy your next adventure, with lots to see and explore. Early spring is however an important time for farm animals and wildlife, when pregnant sheep and ground nesting birds are nearby.

We ask that visitors stick to designated paths, close gates, and keep dogs on leads and take extra care near livestock, as dogs can easily scare or harm farm animals, so please keep a safe distance.
