Bogey Race is a hick village fate do for friends and neighbours, like the bicycle jousting, home made bow and arrow archery, road golf or the make your own hot air balloon competition. The difference is that all we did in the past was put a poster up in the pub. It is a tiny hill in a tiny village and a teeny tiny event for locals. Safety is important and I don't want me splatted on the road or see any of my friends hurt either. Didn't anticipate there would be any interest in it beyond the people of Tarset. It is closed to any more competitors now - in future I will stick to putting posters on Caroline's garage door
