Over the next few days we will be migrating all of our members to wallet passes, both Apple and others.

You will receive an email by Friday with how to add these to your wallets and use them.

This system is far smoother, and brings an added layer of security for our members.

Jemma joined us just over a year ago and became a regular from the off. In the last 12 months Jemma has trained with dedication, commitment and intent, turning upto every HIIT session, every LBT session, spin classes with her friends and regular sessions with her 10yr old daughter. This has all lead to such an amazing improvement in Jemmas fitness, strength, performance in the gym and overall confidence. It has been a pleasure to cheer on from the sidelines for us as a team and so many of the members. Seriously well done Jemma, you should be super proud 👏 And now signing up with we can't wait to see what's next 💪

***WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT***

We recently ran a competition to help build a career for 1 x 16-21yr old and wow, we were blown away with the amount of enquiries we had. After the team and I nailed it down to 3 to put forward, we met all 3, and picked our winner... Before we introduce you, we'll start with saying there are no losers in this. We have made the decision to work with 2 of the 3 over the next 6 months to get them ready and also provide a PT career.

However, for now, let me introduce you to Tom (give Tom a follow, please) our WINNER...

We met Tom on Tuesday, on his 17th birthday. Tom blew us away from application to meeting. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine excitement shone through every word he spoke. We have absolutely no doubt at all Tom will go a long way with his career and we are right here to support him through it, starting now, and with his up and coming course through the incredible from there Tom will complete his First Aid course with before he embarks on his career as a PT

Tom, you are a credit to your parents, youngsters in general, and should be so proud of yourself for this. I've spent 25yrs interviewing candidates and you have shown me another level of engagement. Well done and welcome to the team 💪

Building gyms is one thing, but building futures for our next generation of our local communities is where we really get our buzz.

***MARCH MEMBER OF THE MONTH***

A huge congratulations to for winning our Member of the Month for March 🥳

Oli, Matts coach, said: "Matt joined in October last year, having been out of the gym for 7 or so years, with the aim of losing weight and building strength. Since joining he’s lost 17kg, stopped drinking, is smashing PBs and gives everything he’s got every time he walks through the door."

On top of all of that, hes also a bloody nice guy, polite, friendly, and always stops for a chat and to ask how we are. Incredible work, Matt. All of us at Hedge End Gym are so proud of your achievements and can't wait to see you continually nailing your goals and targets 💪

February Member of the Month...

Let me introduce you to Harry our member of the month for February. Harry's journey is quite frankly, incredible. A true show of what can be achieved with consistency and dedication to achieve your goals... Harry has lost 15st, thats right 15st in weight. Over half of his bodyweight. Secret formulas? Nope. Help? Nope. Just pure dedication to want to change for himself, and all of this in 2yrs.

We have seen Harry's consistency first hand in the gym. Grinding away daily. Getting stronger and stronger. Focused. Dedicated. It is a privilege to call Harry a friend of the gym and we are so excited to carry on seeing his continual progress.

Harry - from myself, the team, the whole of Hedge End Gym community - really well done. Enjoy your prizes and keep up the incredibly amazing work you put in, we are right here to support you through your journey.

Lets all show our love for not just this amazing achievement, but for the incredible guy that he is.

Hedge End Gym Studio24/7 is here!

A studio timetable will be released soon but for the first few days, we want to give you the chance to come in and have a play!

Simply walk in over to the ipad, press the home button to wake it up, select your class, press play, and away you go...

700 classes to choose, from Yoga to HIIT, and everything in between. Sticking with our mantra of allowing you to train how you want, when you want.

Spin bikes, barbell pump sets, steppers, mats, bands and more are right there for you for any class you want to do.

In person classes will be released along with the timetable.

And remember, this is all part of your membership. At Hedge End Gym, you pay your membership, and thats that. No Gold, Silver, Bronze. No tiered prices asking you for more money to use this. Thats BS we just don't do.

All we ask is take care, don't play with the tv/internet etc, clean your equipment and put it back when you are done - basic gym etiquette 💪

Naturally there will be things we learn from you as we go along with this, so get involved and give us your feedback.

Introducing our Member of the Month for January...

There were many nominees, all with their own incredible journeys to share that we were super proud of but when it came down to the final vote, there was 1 clear winner... Emma, you have absolutely smashed it in the gym, not just in January, not since your first session, but right from the moment you and your two wonderful children stepped into the gym for a tour. Watching your confidence grow each time has been a real joy for all of us at Hedge End Gym. Well done and keep up the great work.

Here are a few words from your PT :

"Emma started PT with me in September last year. She came to me with the goal of losing fat, building muscle, and growing her confidence in the gym.

As someone who was originally very anxious with a lot of barriers to coming to the gym, to see her now smashing it and the change in not only her physical but also her mindset towards the gym is inspiring.

From starting at 93kg, learning basic form and training through and recovering from an operation, Emma has now lost over 10kg so far, all whilst getting fitter, stronger and pushing herself each time she steps in the gym. I couldn’t be prouder of her for what she is achieving and look forward to see how much more progress she can make in the future"

Introducing our new Member of the Month award.

2025 we have seen so many amazing achievements in the gym, from showing up through some seriously tough times, right through to PBs that make our eyes water, and so much more.

We want to reward that.

So we are asking our members to nominate each month their Member of the Month and the reason why. The winner will be announced at the beginning of the following month and will win a months free membership plus some other goodies.

2025, wow, WHAT. A. YEAR.

Firstly, from all of us at Hedge End Gym - thank you. Everything we have done is because of you. Your support has been incredible.

Given away thousands in prizes to local schools and charities to raise money for them

Sponsored our local football club Hedge End Rangers

Sponsored a defib for Turnpike Pavillion

Run a competition to make much needed funds for Berrywood school

Paid for the Christmas trees at Shamblehurts school because why wouldnt we, and how could we see a school without trees!!

And lets not forget, we have had our own "bulk" expanding within our first year.

Held lifting clubs with our friends GBHQ

Supported Southamptons first fitness festival

Added kids zones

There are times to be proud in life, and this is one of them.

We can not wait to bring you more in 2026, including:

A 24/7 studio class offering fully inclusive within your membership - we are not fans of this whole pay for more when its within your gym!

New equipment, because we listen to our members.

Events, because as you know, we love a party!

And so much more...
