⚽️ Shooting Stars Training Report ⚽️
Another fantastic session for our Shooting Stars boys and girls! 🤩
We started with some ball mastery exercises, focusing on lots of little touches using both feet. The players worked hard on rolling the ball in every direction using the sole of their foot, helping to improve close control and confidence on the ball.
Next, we moved on to the “Cave” challenge, where the cones were placed very close together. The children had to keep the ball under control and at their feet while navigating through the cave, making sure they avoided the “lava” outside the cones. Everyone showed great concentration and some excellent dribbling skills.
We then progressed to a dribbling and shooting activity. The players dribbled around cones, beat the defender, and finished with a shot on goal. There were some brilliant efforts and plenty of goals scored.
After that came the ever-popular Numbers Game. Each player was given a number and when their number was called, they raced to the ball and tried to score. This encouraged quick reactions, decision-making and lots of excitement.
To finish the session, we held a penalty shootout where the players showed off their shooting skills with some fantastic goals and celebrations!
