What a fantastic evening at Hartlepool Rovers F.C last night, joining a sell-out crowd to hear from All Blacks legend Sean Fitzpatrick.

The event was the latest in a series of hugely successful sporting dinners, raising vital funds to support the club’s youth rugby programme and helping to develop the next generation of local talent.

As a parent of a player in the Westrovians U12 Girls team, a brilliant partnership between Rovers and West Hartlepool Rugby Football Club, I’ve seen first hand the positive impact these clubs have on young people. They do an incredible job, not just developing sporting skills, but building confidence, teamwork and friendships that last a lifetime.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved in organising such a memorable event, and thank you to NE Security Ltd, MB Groundworks and EDF for their support in making it happen.

Hartlepool should be proud of what these clubs are achieving both on and off the pitch.

Hartlepool Rovers look forward to welcoming our guests and of course our esteemed speaker, Sean Fitzpatrick to The New Friarage this evening.

Sean is the latest rugby legend to visit the club and today he was fortunate enough to enjoy a 30 minute chat with Turbo, as well learning a little of the history of rugby in Hartlepool from Mr Fletcher our good friend from BBOB.

It promises to be a great evening, see you all soon!

Hartlepool Rovers FC are delighted to welcome Sean Fitzpatrick to The New Friarage this Friday evening.

In the latest of our exclusive sporting dinner events; we welcome the RWC Winner and Ex NZ Captain to Rovers.

The evening is a sell out, and we thank our event sponsors NE Security Ltd, MB Groundwork’s and EDF for helping to make it possible.

Doors will open at 6pm, with an official event start time of 7pm.

We are tremendously honoured that Sean has agreed to follow a strong line of recent speakers including Neil Back, Lewis Moody, and Martin Johnson.

It promises to be a fantastic evening and we look forward to a brilliant night of tales from the southern hemisphere.
