It was great to have Hartlepool Hawks Cheerleading Academy at the centre over the past couple of weeks as they prepared for their trip to Florida to take part in worlds.
Our large sprung floor gave them the chance to map out a space to replicate what they will use at the competition.

Hartlepool has some very very talented athletes of all ages!

We wish them all lots of luck!

Some free sporting events happening in Hartlepool.
Hartlepool Mavericks Dodgeball Club will be at Seaton Park today offering free dodgeball sessions.
Why not pop along and have a go

Coaches Andy and Jack will be at Seaton Park today between 11-2pm as part of Hartlepool Sport Sportacular Events Easter programme. (Check out some of the other events they are offering too)
If anyone would like to go along please do and if you could wear your Mavs t-shirt that would be great. It’s free to take part so get some friends together and go along and have some fun.
If anyone of our older members would like to go along and lend Andy and Jack a hand that would be much appreciated 👍

A huge thank you to Dave Noble from Noble Joinery Services for helping to improve our centre’s security by installing additional internal digital door code locks.

NJS cover all aspects of joinery, specialising in bespoke installations such as media walls, wainscoting, custom cabinetry and kitchens.

Tonight we introduce another sporting group who bring their passion and love of sport to our Dodgeball Centre

Everyone this is Oaksway Netball Club 🏐

Oaksway Netball Club is the longest-running club in Hartlepool, proudly producing many successful netball players, coaches, and umpires over the last 50 years.

The club continues to work tirelessly to give young learners the opportunity to enjoy and develop their skills in netball within a safe, supportive, and fun environment. We focus on building fundamental skills, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, while encouraging physical fitness and confidence. Oaksway promotes inclusivity, fair play, and a lifelong love of sport for children of all ages.

Sessions held at The Dodgeball Centre are specially designed for younger primary school children.

Children in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 begin their netball journey through engaging, fun-based activities and games that introduce the basics of the sport in an enjoyable way.

Blade Taekwondo GBR is a traditional martial art club and an Olympic sport, welcoming students aged 6+ of all abilities.

Led by Head Coach Corey Wilson – 5th Dan Master & GB Athlete – Blade is a highly competitive, nationally recognised club, excelling in both Sparring (Fighting) and Poomsae.

Here’s a little spotlight on our new member working within The Dodgeball Centre. Taylor Campbell will be offering personal training and group fitness sessions.

Hello, my name is Taylor Campbell, and I’m excited to announce that from Monday, January 5th, I’ll be working as a personal trainer based out of the Dodgeball Centre.

Fitness has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I began my personal training journey in June 2025, working out of my garage, and since then I’ve helped multiple clients lose weight, build strength, improve fitness, and—most importantly—feel better about themselves.

As I continue to grow, I’m excited to now offer both 1-to-1 personal training and group sessions from my own room at the Dodgeball Centre.

Hartlepool Mavericks Dodgeball Club

We offer fun and inclusive dodgeball sessions for children aged 3 right through to adults.
Dodgeball is a fantastic way to build teamwork, fitness, coordination, and core skills.

Whether you’re looking to play just for fun, compete, develop towards international play, or get involved in refereeing and coaching, there’s a session for you.
