Fort Archers

Our annual outdoor fort archers club competition will be held on the 20th of September.

This comp is open to all out members even if you have just joined us, seniors and juniors.

It will be a “national” that means 50 and 40 for seniors and 30and 20 for junior and new comers. If you’re a junior and want more of a challenge you can shoot against seniors too.

We will have one more outdoor session after the comp before we move Indoors for the winter season.

The forecast is not good for tomorrow, we will be at the range for a while to receive any fees and if there is a chance to shoot with a break in the weather we can try.

Some of our membership fees are coming up for renewal. Archery GB have increased the fees again this year so it puts the yearly cost up to 95 for senior 45 for juniors and 50 for disabled members. Please check your membership cards to check if your due.

We are also planning our club comp and hope to have it set by the end of the month. This will be a WA 900. Details to follow.

We are holding an induction this Saturday and we have a few open spaces for anyone who wants to have a go or are interested in joining fort archers.
This will take place at our range in scleddau, see google maps for directions. 10am-130pm
Cost £30 per head. Min age 8yrs.

A useful link for anyone who might be interested in learning a few signs, it would be nice to make our deaf archer feel more welcome and included. There are many videos on you tube and this is just an introduction but it might help to break the ice and get you going.
