Learn to Swim / Toddlers - Stage 7 / Adults & Private Sessions in Ellesmere and at Moreton Hall (Oswestry)

At the Titans Learn to Swim we pride ourselves on the quality of our swimming lessons, all of which are delivered by highly qualified teachers. By keeping our class sizes very small (3:1 ratio in shallow end, 4:1 ratio in deep end of pool) we ensure that our swimming instructors have the time to focus on the individual swimmers needs, while ensuring that our pupils also have fun by learning and developing life skills. All our teachers are DBS checked and every child gets an individual progress report at the end of each swimming term. We currently run lessons on Monday's, Wednesday's & Saturday's at the Ellesmere Primary School pool. We are located in Ellesmere (Shropshire), close to Oswestry, Wrexham, Whitchurch and Shrewsbury. Our classes run during school term time and Titans Learn to Swim was founded and is managed by Stefanie Bircher.

Next up is our lovely Flick (Felicity)! 🏊‍♀️

Flick is a Level 2 qualified swimming teacher and has been part of our Titans team for the past four years. We’re so lucky that Flick will be staying with us a little longer while she begins her university course at the University of Chester at the end of this month. 🎓

Here’s a little bit about Flick:
“Sport has always been a big part of my life, and swimming in particular is something I’ve always enjoyed with my family.
I believe swimming is a fun sport, and I really enjoy helping children learn this essential life skill. I find it incredibly rewarding to help build their confidence in the water and watch the smiles on their faces as they progress each week. I love showing them just how much fun swimming can be!”

🏊‍♀️💜Meet the Team! 💜🏊‍♀️

As we kick off a new term, I thought it would be lovely to introduce our team of teachers to all our new customers and followers — starting with me! 😊

I’m Steffi, and I founded Titans Learn to Swim in 2012.
I’m a Level 2 qualified swimming teacher and have been involved in swimming for as long as I can remember! I had the incredible opportunity to represent Germany at seven World Championships and three European Championships.
Some of the highlights of my swimming career were winning silver and bronze medals at the European Championships, as well as becoming European Junior Champion. 🥈🥉🏆
Outside the pool, I’m a proud mum of two girls who also love being in and around the water. In my free time, I enjoy going for walks, reading, and spending time with family and friends. 💜

I’m really looking forward to introducing the rest of our fantastic team over the coming weeks, so you can get to know the faces behind Titans Learn to Swim!

💫 Wednesday Swimming Lessons at Ellesmere Primary School 💫

We still have a few spaces available in our Wednesday afternoon swimming lessons, so if you’ve been thinking about starting lessons with us, now is a great time to get in touch! 🏊🏼‍♀️💜

👶🏼 Toddler Swimming – 2–3 years We have one space available in our small, friendly toddler group. A lovely introduction to swimming, helping little ones become happy, confident and comfortable in the water. 💦

🏊🏼‍♂️ Stage 2 – 1 space available For swimmers who are progressing from Stage 1 and developing their front and back swimming, confidence and independence.

🏊🏼‍♀️ Stages 4 & 5 – limited availability These swimmers are working in the deep end, developing their strokes, technique, stamina and confidence in deeper water.
All of our lessons are taught in small groups with two teachers, allowing plenty of individual support. 💜

💦 Friday Swimming Lessons at Moreton Hall 💦

Our new Friday sessions at Moreton Hall are filling up fast, and we’re delighted to say that all of our shallow-end groups are now fully booked! 🥳🏊🏼‍♀️

We do still have some availability in our higher-stage groups for swimmers who are ready to progress into the deeper end and work on their strokes, stamina, technique and swimming lengths.

We also still have spaces in our Adult Swim Fit session:

⏰ 5.45–6.30pm
📍 Moreton Hall
🏊🏼‍♀️ Suitable for all abilities, including triathletes and adults wanting to improve their technique, learn all four strokes correctly and build stamina.

👏🏻What a fantastic first week back! 🏊‍♀️💜

Our first week of lessons has absolutely flown by and we had another great day at the pool today!

It’s been so lovely to see all our swimmers back in the water, catch up with our regulars and welcome lots of new swimmers to Titans Learn to Swim. 🥰

Looking at our Saturday availability, we now only have:
🏊‍♀️ 2 spaces remaining in our Beginners (Stage 1) groups 🏊‍♂️ 1 space remaining in Stage 2 🏊‍♀️ Stage 3 is currently fully booked 🏊‍♂️ Limited availability in our higher groups, for swimmers who are swimming lengths or in the deep end

If you’ve been thinking about starting swimming lessons with us, please get in touch sooner rather than later as spaces are filling quickly!

We’re so excited for another fantastic term of helping swimmers become technically strong, happy and confident in the water. 💦💜

Lights off at Moreton Hall for this evening! 💡🏊‍♀️
I hope you all enjoyed our very first session there as much as I did. It was so lovely to see the pool full of happy, excited swimmers and to start this new chapter for Titans Learn to Swim. 💜

🌊 Did your little swimmers enjoy putting all their swimming skills into practice over the summer? ☀️🏊‍♀️
There’s something so lovely about seeing children enjoying the water, becoming more confident and showing off the skills they’ve been working hard on in their lessons. 💜
Whether it was swimming in the sea, splashing around in the pool or enjoying some holiday fun, we hope our Titans swimmers had lots of opportunities to practise and enjoy being in the water! 😊

It’s sooooo good to be back! 🥰🏊‍♀️
Sorry I was so busy yesterday and completely forgot to post after our first day back!
The first day back is always a little bit nervy, but it was so lovely to catch up with our amazing staff, see all of our Saturday swimmers again and hear all about their summer adventures. ☀️
It was also lovely to welcome our new customers to Titans — we hope you enjoyed your first sessions with us! 💜
You all did absolutely fabulous, and it was so nice to see so many happy faces back in the pool.
