Another one of our players is taking on an incredible challenge by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.

Sophie is undertaking this remarkable journey in memory of her mum.

Meet Sophie Bayliss, who is preparing to take on the challenge of a lifetime – climbing Mount Kilimanjaro!

Standing at 5,895m, Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world. Over seven days, Sophie will trek more than 60km to reach the summit, all while raising funds for three charities, including Shropshire Rural Support.

Sophie is undertaking this incredible challenge in memory of her mother, who was a passionate supporter of Shropshire's farming and rural communities.

"I've wanted to take on a big trekking challenge for quite a while and when the opportunity arose to climb Kilimanjaro, I couldn't pass it up."

What a season it’s been.

We finish 5th in the league, a strong and hard-earned position in a competitive league, showing real growth, resilience, and togetherness throughout.

The standout moment was lifting the League Cup 🏆 — the first ever trophy for the Ladies team. A moment built on hard work, belief, and unity, and fully deserved for everyone involved at the club.
