💙 Penultimate game of the season! 💙

On Tuesday we took on the mighty Morton Ladies in what we knew was going to be a tough game — and we definitely weren’t wrong! 😅

It was a fantastic game from start to finish, with some massive hits, tight fielding and plenty of action! 💥

We had a few little mishaps of our own, especially when the ball decided it fancied bouncing off in completely the wrong direction! 😂 🤦‍♀️

But what we were really proud of was the way we kept the positivity up from start to finish. We picked ourselves up when things didn’t go our way and kept battling right until the final ball. ❤️

It was a close and hard-fought game, but this time Morton just had the edge, taking the win 23–20.5.

A massive well done to our girls for keeping going, keeping the smiles going and giving it everything! 🥰

One more game to go… let’s finish the season on a high! 💪❤️

On Wednesday, we faced The Wolves Of Whittington! It was a pleasure to play against some old faces and some new ones, and we had a really enjoyable game!
Credit where credit is due, Whittington’s fielding was fantastic! They managed to stop those full rounders with ease and speed, keeping us on our toes. Their batting also threw us off at points, and they scored some well-deserved rounders!!
A great game played in great spirit, followed by the all-important sausage and chips! 🌭🍟
Final score: Ellesmere Ladies 25 – Whittington 7

Last Tuesday we welcomed the lovely ladies of Caradog for our final home game of the season, and what a game it was! 🙌

There were some tight bits of fielding, some big hits and plenty of great rounders from both teams. It was a brilliant game! 💪

We managed to come away with the win 25.5 – 10.5 🎉

A massive thank you to Caradog for a lovely game, as always! ❤️

We also want to say a HUGE thank you to Ellesmere League of Friends - Charity Shop for their very kind donation to our team. 💙

We’ve already put some of it to good use and treated ourselves to some new posts and bats ⚾️✨ and we’re now in the process of looking at some new kit for the 2027 season! 👀

So… keep your eyes peeled! 👕💙

⚾️ MATCH RESULTS! ⚾️

What a game! We took on the lovely Ladies of Llansaintfraid in a fast-paced, competitive match that kept us on our toes right from the start! 🔥

We showed some brilliant tight fielding against some seriously strong batters from LOL, with some great movement, communication and teamwork on display. 👏🏼

It was a really friendly and supportive game throughout, with plenty of laughs alongside the competitiveness — exactly how rounders should be! 💪🏼💙

A special shout-out to our umpires who did a fantastic job keeping the game moving, especially when faced with some… tricky decisions! 👏🏼 We definitely wouldn’t want to be in their shoes!

Happy World Rounders Day everyone!! ⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️

💙 Match Result 💙

Another great game for the team tonight against the lovely One Hit Wonders. Such a great team with some big hitters and incredibly quick fielding that kept us on our toes!

Our team really stepped up with some tight fielding, which helped us stay on top throughout the game. We also saw a big improvement in our movement and communication—something we focused on in our team talk before the match. There’s still room to improve, but it was great to see everyone putting it into practice.

The final score was 26 - 12.5 to us! 🎉

The team has definitely taken on board the captain’s advice, and it really showed throughout the match. So proud of everyone’s effort, teamwork, and determination.

A big thank you to One Hit Wonders for a great game, and thank you to the umpires for officiating! 👏

And finally we want to say goodbye to one of our fellow teammates who is leaving us for the summer to go travelling around America! We will miss you but we know you will have the best time ever! We cant wait to hear all about it when you get home 💙 Safe travels Amy Lauren!

Well… nobody actually melted, so we’re calling that a win. 🥵🥎

What a cracking evening of rounders! It was slightly warm 🥵, there were plenty of laughs, a few “what on earth was that?” moments, and lots of competitive play between two very evenly matched sides. Safe to say the heat definitely got involved, but we refused to let it beat us (even if it did steal a few brain cells along the way!).

It was great to spend some more time with the one of the new teams in the league and get to know everyone a bit better. You’re such a lovely bunch of ladies :)

Here’s to more questionable catches, dodgy throws, plenty of banter, and women supporting women. Same time next week… just with 10 degrees less, please! ☀️😂🥎

Last Night we took to the road to play the lovely ladies of Pennant All Rounders! It was a great game, pennant stopped us in our tracks with their amazingly tight fielding and their hits caught us off guard too!!

It was such a fun game where we saw all means of weather ☀️☔️🌈

We managed to come away with the win of 11.5- 7.5!

Thank you ladies for a super friendly, relaxed match with laughs all round!

Also another thank you to our umpires Kitty and Justine who kept the game running smoothly, we couldn’t have done it without you! Two special mentions, one to Justine whose calls could probably be heard back in Ellesmere, the clear and loud calls kept everyone on track!
And 2 to Kitty’s Mum who sat in the car waiting as she didn’t want to get wet if the rain did decide to show!
