😔 She used to hide behind me at the school gates.

Every morning, the same thing. Head down. Gripping my hand a little too tight. Watching the other kids run in while she stayed back.

I'd tell her it was fine. That she'd make friends. That she just needed time.

But deep down, I was worried. 💭
Would she always struggle like this? Would she ever just... feel comfortable in her own skin?

Then a friend suggested karate.

I almost laughed. My shy girl? In a karate class? 🥋

But something shifted in those first few weeks. The structure. The respect. The fact that every single child in that room was learning something new — so nobody was ahead of her.

She started standing a little taller. 🙌

She started answering questions in class.

She started walking into school without looking back.

Karate didn't change who she is. It just gave her the confidence to be who she is. ❤️
