We’re back in action this evening as Ellesmere Port Town FC take on Sutton Rangers Reserves! 🔵⚪️

After a tough run of recent results, the lads will be looking to put in a strong performance and get back on track as we welcome Sutton Rangers to Whitby.

It’s another important fixture in our West Cheshire League Division 3 campaign, and the lads will be giving everything to push on and fight for a positive result. 💪

FULL TIME | Ellesmere Port Town FC Reserves 1-2 Capenhurst Villa Reserves

A frustrating afternoon for the lads as we fell to a narrow defeat against Capenhurst Villa Reserves.

After finding ourselves behind, the team showed great character to battle their way back into the game, with Mou Hafsi finding the equaliser in the 65th minute to make it 1-1.

Unfortunately, shortly after getting ourselves level, we were reduced to ten men. The lads continued to work tirelessly and dig deep, but with the numerical disadvantage, we were unable to hold on and eventually conceded the decisive goal.

Despite the result, there were plenty of positives to take from the performance. The character and fight shown to get back into the game was excellent, and even with ten men the lads gave everything until the final whistle.

Another tough lesson for our newly rebuilt squad, but there are encouraging signs and plenty to build on as the season progresses.

We’re back at home this afternoon as Ellesmere Port Town Reserves take on local rivals Capenhurst Villa Reserves in a derby day clash! 🔵⚪️

The lads will be looking to respond after two difficult results in our previous fixtures and push on as we look to get back to winning ways.

With local pride on the line, there’ll be no shortage of motivation as we welcome Capenhurst Villa Reserves to the Whitby Club. We know it’ll be a tough and competitive game, but the lads will be ready to give everything for the badge. 💪

FULL TIME | West Kirby Reserves 5-0 Ellesmere Port Town FC Reserves

A difficult night for the lads as we travelled to Marine Park to take on a very strong West Kirby Reserves side.

We were outplayed by a great team who you could tell have played together for a number of years. Their understanding, movement and quality on the ball showed throughout the game, and they were deserved winners on the night.

Despite the result, the lads kept working and battling until the final whistle, with another tough lesson for what is still a newly rebuilt side finding its feet together.

We’d like to wish West Kirby Reserves all the very best for the rest of the season and look forward to the reverse fixture later in the campaign.

After a 0-2 defeat to Kelsall last time out, the lads will be looking to bounce back this evening. 💪

We now head away to West Kirby Reserves for another tough test. The boys will be looking to put in a strong performance and get back to winning ways.

FULL TIME 🔵⚽️

A 2–0 defeat to Kelsall FC at Whitby Sports & Social Club.

With a number of senior lads unavailable, today was a fantastic opportunity for some of our younger players to step up and experience senior football. Despite the result, the lads gave everything from start to finish and can be proud of their effort and commitment. 💪

A big well done to everyone who represented the Port today — plenty of positives to take forward as we continue to build and give the next generation their chance. 👏🔵

We’d also like to wish Kelsall FC all the best for the season and look forward to when we meet in the return fixture.

After a fantastic 4-2 victory last time out, the lads will be looking to carry that momentum into this afternoon’s game and continue pushing on. 💪

We welcome Kelsall FC to Whitby Sports & Social Club for another tough test. The boys will be looking to build on the win, put in another strong performance and hopefully come away with another positive result.
