Event Information
Travel down & Check in
The postcode for Butlins Minehead is TA24 5SH and is well sign posted on your approach into Minehead. We can access the site from 1pm and check in from 2pm, the booking reference is MH22195138.

Schools have been approached for the players to have the Friday off in order to miss the Friday traffic. Phil and Chiefy are organising lifts for players who are not traveling with their families.
We will find a venue onsite on the Friday evening and message all players and parents of where we are meeting for an informal get together.
Rooms
The rooms are quite basic and therefore only have a kettle and no catering facilities, unless you can live off pot noodles. Not even a fridge to keep the coaches beer cold! Please note that towels are not provided in the rooms, so even if you don’t fancy a dip in the pool, you will need one for a shower. Bedding is however provided, lucky us! Accommodation will be in the Ocean Wharf or Pacific Point areas, map attached.
Tournament
Games are played on the Saturday & Sunday at Minehead RUFC. A shuttle bus is available to take players and family to the games. It is about a 15 minute walk should you wish to. Results and fixtures can be accessed on esfscorecentre.co.uk
Food
Accommodation is not self-catering as previously stated, I can only apologise for this as the event organisers had said all rooms were self-catering. There are plenty of restaurants and fast food outlets on site. Burger King, Firehouse Grill, Pizza Hut, Finnigans Fish & Chips, Bar Rosso to name a few.
There is also a large Tesco supermarket located within walking distance from Butlins.
We will be taking small camp cookers to the tournament during the day and will be able to heat up hot dogs and I would therefore ask if everyone could bring a tin of hot dogs. During previous tours, the demand for bananas, oranges and apples has been incredible, who knew teenagers ate fruit!
On the Saturday night, tables have been booked for all at Ludo’s, a restaurant onsite and an email has been sent with the menu.

“The tour is almost upon us, after another year of training, games, injuries, fun and laughter it's time to step up to the mark.
Last year runners up, this year, it could be one better, with everyone working as hard as possible for the team.
Tour is a big part of what we're trying to achieve as a rugby section. Thanks for your support and your help in developing your son, using rugby and it's core values of: teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline and sportsmanship!
Watching each of the players progress over time, boys turning into young men and seeing the development in every aspect of their game has been a joy and a privilege
