🏐 Meet the Board Series 🏐

Continuing our Meet the Board series, next up is another one of our Fixture Secretaries for the 26/27 season, Izee Lowry!

Bringing a wealth of experience from their time on the board , Izee has helped organise the fantastic tournaments the league is known for. We're delighted to have them join our board and help keep everything running as smoothly as their events do.

As a libero, Izee is used to making sure everyone is in the right place at the right time and setting the team up for success. With skills like that, we're confident they'll be a huge asset both on and off the court.

We're excited to have Izee as part of the board and can't wait to see the impact they'll make this season.

🏐 Tournament Results 🏐

Sunday 7th at the Kendal Tournament marked the curtain call on our Indoor 25/26 season — and what a way to finish!

The MVL Amazons played 6 games, 12 sets, and dropped only one set all day. The team showed incredible skill, teamwork, and determination from start to finish.

🥈Runners-up finish🥈

That single set came in the final against Wigan Seahawks in tbe final , who were worthy winners on the day. Huge congratulations to them!

More importantly, the tournament was everything we love about volleyball: great competition, fantastic skills, lots of fun, and plenty of laughter.

Introducing our next board member… Monica Parker!

After an outstanding first season with the NVL Amazons, Monica has fitted into the team and club perfectly. Her enthusiasm, commitment, and willingness to get involved have already made a huge impact.

This year, Monica is stepping up even further by joining the board and helping to organise fixtures and support the running of the club behind the scenes.

We're delighted to have her on board and can't wait to see the difference she'll make both on and off the court.

Our Amazons brought the trophy home and we couldn’t be prouder!
Huge respect to all the amazing teams who gave it their all – what a tournament!
But in the end… victory wore our colours!

Black and red wasn’t just our uniform — it was the warning label.
The court felt it. The opponents saw it. The trophy? It followed us home.🌅🤩
