There are 6 classes each week:
• Mon 6pm - 7pm **
• Tues 6pm – 7pm
• Tues 7:30pm - 8:30pm
• Wed 6pm - 7pm **
• Thurs 6pm – 7pm
• Sat 11am – 12noon
• Sat 12noon – 1pm

We assemble and socialise before class, so please arrive 5-10mins early. Classes marked ** are at our Outdoor location. Please ask for details. Update: Sept 2021
We are required to assemble 5-10mins before class outside rear entrance, accessible via car park: please up/down to Lauriston Gardens where meets Panmure Place. Entrance is opposite. Contact us direct or require any further assistance. There is a free private car park that can be accessed via Lauriston Garden or free on street parking on after 6.30pm. First class is FREE!

We pride ourselves on our welcoming and friendly atmosphere in class. There are also regular social events and these things create a great atmosphere to train in class. Referral scheme - bring friends win t-shirt, vest, hoodie, hand wraps...etc

*** Private Sessions ***

We offer private sessions in, but not limited to, the following areas:
Kickboxing / street self defence / Fitness sessions
All gender and experience levels catered for. We can take individuals, or groups of up to 8 people. We have a city centre location or, a lot of clients prefer to train in their own home / garden which we are happy to accommodate. In order to make affordable to everyone, the more people on the session the cheaper it is per person. Individual sessions, blocks of 5, 10 or 25 have proved a very popular gift so contact us if wish to do so.

🎯 LASER TAG. POOL. FOOD. GREAT COMPANY. 🎯

What a day.

We went into a packed Laser Tag arena with 30 players, survived the chaos (just about), settled a few scores, formed a few alliances, and somehow lived to tell the tale.

But the best part?

The social didn’t end when the game did.

Afterwards, we headed out for pool, food, plenty of laughs, and the kind of conversations and memories that are difficult to create when everyone’s rushing home after training.

This is something we’re increasingly proud of.

Yes, we teach boxing, kickboxing and Muay Thai.

Yes, we help people improve their fitness, skills and confidence.

But we’re also building something else.

A club where people know each other’s names.
A club where friendships form naturally.
A club where newcomers are welcomed.
A club where the conversation continues after the gloves come off.

The training brings people together.

The culture keeps them together.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to the games and those who joined us afterwards and made it such a fantastic afternoon. Looking forward to the next one already.

Bridging the gap one session at a time! Removing some of the unnecessary psychological roadblocks that creep in to martial arts training. We’re avoiding using words like ‘beginner’ ‘basic’ ‘advanced’ ‘elite’ particularly when referring to a technique or strike.

Instead we’re minding our p’s and q’s and making no differentiation when we combine low kick set ups to flying kicks ala
The result:
Subtly better adoption of techniques.
More ‘have a go’ + ‘perfect it’ attitudes.
Improved linkage between dynamic forms.

Winners 🏆 Laughter, memories, Haribo and a suspicious looking Pineapple. Much more than a Pub Quiz, our group regularly hangs out after class bringing as much positive energy to the room and feeding it back to our incredible Pub Quiz hosts. At any given social interaction human beings are either giving or taking. It’s healthy to receive as much as it is to spread joy in the room. A balance needs to be stuck.

With our group, we strive to leave the room in a better, happier, lighter state than we found it, adding positively to the environment around us.

Last night we had 2 teams, one of which was made up of new and existing members for the very first time. And it all. Just. Clicked.

These are special tomes at Combat Solutions and each social occasion is as unique as the people who form vital parts of it.

Working the agile combinations and set ups to the jumping and scissor knee variations.

Thursday’s 7pm Bespoke class began last Autumn with one purpose :
Members submit requests for techniques and strategies they would most like to work on. Submissions are accepted between Friday and Tuesday allowing sufficient time to put together a qualitative, and accessible teaching format for each Thursday 7pm Class.
We then recap on them over a back to back two hour at the start of the new months.

Quite by accident , the result had seen a broad repertoire of understanding and techniques being adopted during our Freestyle rounds and Sparring Classes.
We’ll take that !
