Client Spotlight: Ethan’s Two-Month Transformation 🥋
came to me with a unique set of goals. He recently started Brazilian Ju-Jitsu and wanted to take his performance to the next level, he actually wasn’t really concerned about changing his physique.
First off, let's talk about his weight. Ethan's lost 0.6kg on the scale. But here's where it gets interesting: he's been gaining muscle at the same time. You might be wondering, "How is that possible?"
We put Ethan on a maintenance calorie plan. Why? Because he's not just hitting the gym; he's also got a physically demanding job and is often on the move. We needed a plan that fuelled his sessions without packing on unnecessary pounds. It's all about balance!
Now, let's dive into his training. Remember the goal was never body recomposition but about enhancing his BJJ performance. We focused on exercises that directly support his grappling game. Think grip strength, core stability, shoulder power, and a boosted engine.
His workout isn't just about looking good; it's about feeling good on the mats and having more energy in his day to day life. And trust me, the results speak for themselves 🙌🏼
But we didn't stop there. We also tackled his cardio. With targeted workouts, we fine-tuned his endurance to help him roll longer and stronger.
As he’s always on the move with work we figured out the best eating options for his active lifestyle, so he never feels restricted. This can be tricky as there’s not too many clean on-the-go options in Gib but I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve 🤌🏼
This journey is far from over, but I couldn't be prouder of Ethan's progress. He's proof that with the right guidance, tailored plans, and a whole lot of determination, you can smash your fitness goals.
His recent body changes has spurred him on to get shredded so watch this space! With his work ethic it’ll be light work.
