EUFC welcomes members of all abilities, from complete beginners to those seeking to rival our international athletes. If you simply want to try something new while having fun and meeting new people we will see to it that you do. If you’re the more competitive type, our excellent coaches will gladly help you excel in this fast-paced, dynamic and exciting sport.

We’re very excited to announce our last social of the academic year - in celebration of Max Cumming’s birthday! The plan is dinner followed by bowling and a cheeky trip to the pub. If you plan on coming to dinner but not Bowling, please message Sophie to make sure booking numbers for dinner are accurate.

EUFC’s last social of the year is this Friday the 27th March. We’ll start at Pizza Posto (EH8 9DH) for dinner at 7pm, before heading out later for well deserved end of year drinks

⚠️Our first social of the semester is this Wednesday⚠️

We’ll be inside pear tree from 19:30 onwards! No need to book anything, just turn up and we’ll be there.

If you’re new and thinking of joining EUFC this semester, this is a great opportunity to come and meet some of the club and other beginners. Please feel free to come and poke around to see what we have to offer.

🎟️Tickets can be found either in the linktree in the account bio or via this link🔗 https://fixr.co/organiser/316950788. Tickets are £3.15.

These sessions are aimed at total or very inexperienced beginners who want to get a feel for the sport before committing to a beginner membership with us. You’ll be able to meet some of our coaches as well as new fencers!

You don’t have to worry about kit (although if you have any fencing kit already then by all means bring it along). Just ensure you are wearing long leggings or sports tracksuit bottoms, and clean sports shoes. Court shoes such as tennis, squash or badminton trainers are the best, but really any comfortable trainers will do the trick.

We can’t wait to see you next week! A reminder that if you enjoy your session, EUFC runs beginner training sessions twice a week, accessible through the beginner membership (only £35). Happy fencing🤺
