We, at Dunblane New Golf Club were delighted to welcome the China Golfing Society for its prestigious annual North v South Match.

Established more than a century ago, the China Golfing Society was founded to bring together golfers with connections to China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. Today, the Society continues to develop friendship, camaraderie and competitive golf through an extensive programme of fixtures and events across the United Kingdom and internationally.

It was a privilege for Dunblane New Golf Club to host this distinguished occasion and to welcome the players, officials and guests who travelled to take part. The event was played in a wonderful spirit, reflecting the traditions and values that have underpinned the Society for generations.

We hope all participants enjoyed a memorable day both on and off the course and experienced the warm hospitality for which Dunblane New Golf Club is renowned. We look forward to welcoming members of the China Golfing Society back to the club again in the future.

Erin’s first day back at work in glorious sunshine after her big win @ the Scottish Women’s Amateur.

The trophy is impressive!

It has been great to see all members congratulating Erin on her achievement.

It was also a nice touch that Lynn Kenny (winner year 2000) popped in to congratulate Erin on her big win. 👏

A fantastic day at Dunblane New Golf Club for the Ballantine Medal on Sunday 24th May 2026!

We are all delighted that the Scottish Woman’s Amateur Championship has been won by Erin Huskie. We are all incredibly proud of Erin and absolutely delighted for her on this fantastic achievement!

Scottish Women’s Amateur Championship - News Update🏆

Stirling’s Erin Huskie, whose brilliant play has lit up Southerness all week, has this afternoon been crowned Scottish Women’s Amateur Champion.

Regrettably, Pollok’s Rosie Maguire was unable to contest the eagerly anticipated final because of a neck injury.

Everyone at Scottish Golf wishes Rosie a swift recovery, congratulates her on her play this week and for the gracious manner in which she handled a very difficult situation when it became apparent she was unable to continue.

Erin, a member of the Scotland girls’ squad, played superb golf all week and showed true champion qualities over the three days of competition.

The 18-year-old qualified from the stroke play as the second seed and posted the joint lowest score of the week (68,-3) in her second round.

Erin’s three wins in the match play stages all came on extra holes - victories over Carly McDonald and Jade Potter achieved on the 19th hole before she beat Abercrombie Nisbet in the semis thanks to stunning birdie on the 21st hole.
