But actually it’s the birthday of the reason Football Prodigy Coaching Academy and FPCA Football Club exists.

Happy 11th Birthday to my eldest son , you will always be the best at anything you do and always bring that love to football where ever we go . We celebrate tonight watching the match and a huge year for you as your next journey at school starts in September ..

Following today’s forecast of temperatures exceeding 30°C, all Football Prodigy Coaching Academy sessions are cancelled today.

The safety, health and wellbeing of our players, coaches and families will always be our number one priority. While we know cancellations can be disappointing, the risk of heat-related illness during football activity is simply too high in these conditions.

This decision has been made in line with our Extreme Weather & Environmental Conditions Policy and forms part of our commitment to safeguarding every child attending the academy.

Parents will be contacted regarding any replacement sessions or membership credits where applicable under our policy.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support. We hope everyone stays safe, keeps cool and enjoys the rest of the day.

📢 **Important Session Update – Wednesday 1st July**

After discussions with both parents and our coaching team, we have made the decision to **close all Wednesday sessions on 1st July** to allow families, players and coaches the opportunity to watch **England in their Round of 32 knockout game vs DR Congo**. 🏴⚽

As passionate football people, we understand how special these moments can be and wanted to support those who wish to watch and enjoy the game.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please note, this cancellation is **our choice** and **not related to our extreme weather policy**, therefore we will look to either:

⚽ Arrange a replacement session during the school holidays
or
💳 Provide a credit for the cancelled session

Hi everyone,

Due to the current high temperatures, we just wanted to make parents aware that sessions over the next few days may be shorter than normal or slightly adjusted to help keep all players safe and comfortable.

Please ensure your child arrives with plenty of water and, where possible, dressed appropriately for the warm weather. We will be giving regular drinks breaks throughout all sessions and keeping activities manageable in the heat.

For safeguarding and safety reasons, we kindly ask that all parents / guardians remain on site during sessions in case we need to finish early or make changes at short notice.

Player welfare is always our priority, and we appreciate your support and understanding.
