Today would have been my lovely Mum’s Birthday 💔It’s been two years since she died unexpectedly leaving a massive hole in our lives. A day doesn’t go by without thinking about her. We miss her dreadfully.
I talk about her frequently to family and friends. I realised this year how lucky I am to be able to look back at my childhood with so many wonderful family memories and how she remained a big part of my adult life. Family holidays, parties, dinners, shopping trips and gin fuelled lunches! She was a big part of my daughter’s life too.
She was always loving, firm but fair, drove me to be the best I could be. Her ambition for her children knew no limits. She was funny, opinionated- always told you as it was & always there for the good times and the bad.
