🔥⚽ Fantastic Joint Training Session Tonight! ⚽🔥

What a brilliant evening on the training pitch as our 2013 Girls welcomed the younger 2017 Girls for a special joint training session as both squads continue their preparations for next month's Foyle Cup.

A huge well done to our 2013 girls. Every player took a younger player under their wing, showing fantastic leadership, encouragement, and support throughout the session. It was great to see them setting such a positive example both on and off the ball.

And what can we say about our 2017 girls? 👏 Stepping up to train with older players can be daunting, but every single one of you rose to the challenge. Your effort, confidence, and determination were outstanding, and not once did you look out of place.

This is exactly what Phoenix is all about — one club, one family, with older players helping inspire the next generation. ❤️🖤

Well done to all the girls and coaches involved. The future is certainly bright for our Flames! 🔥⚽

Are you passionate about football and looking to combine your education with high-quality coaching and player development?

Join us for our Football Academy Information Session on Thursday 24th June from 5:00pm – 5:30pm in the Sixth Form Centre.

This session is open to all pupils entering Year 11 in September 2026, along with their parents/guardians, and will provide an insight into the opportunities available through our Football Academy programme.

🔥⚽ PHOENIX FLAMES GIRLS – ANOTHER BRILLIANT NIGHT OF TRAINING! ⚽🔥

The U8s, U9s and U10s Phoenix Flames girls were back at it again last night, with fantastic numbers, great energy and plenty of smiles all across the pitch. 🔴⚫

The girls worked hard throughout the session, developing their skills, building confidence and, most importantly, enjoying their football with their teammates. The progress being made week after week is brilliant to see, and every player should be proud of their efforts.

A massive thank you must go to Charlene McGeehan, who kindly came along and captured some fantastic photographs of the girls in action. 📸

Volunteers like Charlene are a huge help to the club, giving up their time to showcase our players and create memories for families to look back on. We are incredibly grateful for the support and for the amazing images she has provided.

A massive week ahead for our Phoenix Athletic FC U17 Boys as they get set for their Cup Final on Thursday evening! 🏆

The boys have been outstanding throughout the competition, showing great determination, teamwork, and character to earn their place in the final. Every player has played their part in getting the team this far, and now they have one final challenge ahead.

🏆 SUMMER CUP CHAMPIONS! 🏆

A massive congratulations to our 2013 boys who were crowned Summer Cup Champions after a thrilling final against Strabane AFC.

Both teams battled hard from the first whistle to the last in a game that was end-to-end throughout. Neither side could find a breakthrough in the first half, with the teams going in at the break level at 0-0.

The second half was just as exciting, and we came agonisingly close to taking the lead when Ethan Bradley rose highest to meet a cross, only to see his powerful header go inches wide.

With the final whistle blowing and the score still 0-0, the cup would be decided by a penalty shootout.

Our goalkeeper Logan was the hero of the shootout, producing three fantastic saves under pressure to give our boys the advantage. Showing great composure from the spot, our lads got the job done and were deservedly crowned champions!

Well done to every one of our players for their hard work, determination and team spirit. You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves.

A big well done also to Strabane AFC for a fantastic game played in great spirit. Both teams were a credit to their clubs.
