Finally getting around to posting these 2 weeks post-show, but better late than never! 🙌 Managed to balance prep with 2 holidays and still came in more conditioned than the last time—mission accomplished ✅. The goal was simple: be better than my previous show, and we got it done! 💪

Huge thanks to everyone who supported me through this journey. Special shoutout to for doing what he does best behind the scenes, my mum for always having my meals prepped when I was too busy, and the biggest shoutout to the most patient woman I know, .mm9.2 , for putting up with me through it all. 🙏

Now it’s back to work, with 6 weeks to go for another dance on stage. Hopefully, I won’t be up there for nearly half an hour this time—that was a workout in itself! 😅

Meet Chris and Gerard, they started their fitness journey with me 9 weeks ago. Their initial goal was to look well for their stag which is now at the end of the month and I think they have absolutely smashed it! 🤜💥

Chris first weighed in at 143lb and is now just under 140lb. His whole look has changed and he is now holding less body fat and is in a perfect position to start building new muscle tissue to his frame.

Chris’ keeps saying “Oh Jesus!” During his sessions.. I’m not sure what he’s praying for but its working!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🤣🤣🤣🤣

Gerard first weighed in at 158lb and suffers from IBS, clients who suffer with IBS naturally find it harder to build muscle or even drop body fat due to the conditions impact on performance but Gerard doesn’t let this stop him! He is now around 144lb!!! 🤜And having a more routined structured diet is positively impacting on his IBS! ✅

The boys have went from having 2-3 meals per day to now eating 6 meals per day! Body fat is dropping and muscle is building! Their gym performance is now at its peak and rising every session.

Enjoy your stag at the end of the month boys! Give the body a “wee” rest because we will be building that muscle for the wedding in August next 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

Set realistic goals!!!

We all want fast results but we don’t always want to put in the work! 🫣

This is what the past 3 years have looked like for me..

The picture on the left (2019) shows me at end of a bulking phase, I was around 79kg😱😱😱

The picture on the right (now) shows me at start of bulking phase and I am 79.9kg.. 😎😎😎

It takes time 🕰️ to build the muscle 💪🏽 but too often you give up because you can’t see the results within a few weeks.😵‍💫

Everyone is different so don’t blame your “slow metabolism” 🤥on not following the proper protocols to ensure results! 🫠 and most importantly don’t give up! 😬

Some people might have to work a little bit harder than others due to genetics but that is something that we have no control over.

So instead of using up all your energy on the excuses try and use it to reach your goal! 🧐💪🏽

The dreaded first dance 💃🏽 💍

Due to personal circumstances Paul and Anna’s wedding was brought forward by 1 year and they had very little time to plan..

They originally planned on having some dance lessons to feel more confident on the floor but due to time constraints this wasn’t possible 🕰️ ✋

“We will just wing it” but then the nerves set in.. 😱

I pulled a basic routine together and gave them a quick lesson out in the foyer.. the dance didn’t have many steps, it was simple and elegant and was able to be repeated throughout the song.. 🎵

At the side (out of the way of the wedding camera) I was prompting them, but once the nerves settled and they started to enjoy it they were on their own!

The thought of the first dance can overshadow the happiest day of your life. But whatever the circumstances or limitations I can help!

Don’t be afraid to dance 🕺🏾 💒

I made mistakes when I was trying to bulk before prep!!im not ashamed to admit it.we all make mistakes but I learnt from it and will not be chasing no scales again!! ⚖️

The picture on the left is yesterday and the one on the right was in august just after holiday (hence the nice tan 😂)

Even though the weight is exactly the same the look is a lot different, growth in all aspects and not even pushing full throttle yet.can’t wait to see what package we bring next year 👌🏽

This is a perfect example why I love what I do. I recently delivered a presentation for streetsoccerni on principles of nutrition.a basic understanding of what happens in our body when we eat.Helping people understand what is going wrong will often put things into perspective. That kind of feedback is what I get on a daily basis as I keep things as simple as possible.simple works but it won’t work unless you do so don’t wait until tomorrow for results you can start achieving today 💪🏽

Its never too late to start! 💪🏽🥰

My newest client has just started her fitness journey at the age of 65 🥳. She has osteoporosis, metal plates in her ankle and lower back issues. But this will not stop her from making improvments! 💪🏽🔥

She started by cleaning up her diet and already lost 4kg 🥗🌮but wanted to build up some muscle 💪🏽 especially in her legs which are weaker due to injury. So she has started coming to the gym..

So what’s the barriers stopping you? Whats the excuses you tell yourself? That you can’t do it? It’s too hard? Its too late…

It’s never too late to start!!

No! ⛔️ however..
For best results it is a very important tool 🧰🛠️
But you CAN get in shape without doing it.. but it will take longer ⏳

Emma set herself a goal to be 40 & fabulous so she booked a photoshoot for her upcoming birthday 🎂 🎁
However she felt that weighing food and tracking calories was not an option for her ⛔️

We had to work together and get creative to manage her calorie intake 👫 🥗
I adapted to her needs by monitoring her food consumption using pictures 🤳🏼🌮
I gave her feedback and she adjusted where nessesary
This took a lot of hard work & dedicatation but it paid off.. ✅

It wasn’t easy but we were able to get it done with no depletion coming into the shoot as it would suit her lifestyle 💃🏽🎶

The results speak for themselves.. 👀🔥

Exercise for your mental health?take a read

Exercise improves your mental health, its true, we have heard! But what people neglect to tell you is that its not the same for each person and each condition and if we tried to treat everyone the same it can actually have the opposite affect. 😬😬😬

I have a few clients with different conditions and I wanted to explain how I work with them, so here goes..

I have a client with OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) she first started with me to get a bikini body👙for her summer holidays ☀️🏝️ so I made a plan that involved a calorie deficit, higher protein, gym 3 days a week, over 10,000 steps daily🏋🏼‍♀️🏃‍♀️, sounds simple but what I wasn't aware at the time was that my clients ocd issues centred around control & perfection, she also didn’t have a good relationship with food. Because of this she wasn’t able to see the improvements she was making instead she could only see the negative things, she was getting frustrated with the calorie counting and even started to try and beat her calorie deficit and steps every day which lead to her not eating enough!! she was exhausted, annoyed and lacked confidence in the gym 😴😤

Thats when I decided I needed to do change things up for her. We stopped the calorie and step counting right away ⏱️✋🛑, instead I made her a list of foods she could have through the week and now we focus on having a healthier lifestyle and not being on a “diet” 🥗🍱. she now walks for pleasure out in nature 🍁🍂which helps sooth the symptoms and she enjoys doing it. In the gym i found the exercises that were right for her. 🏋🏼‍♀️🤸‍♀️💪🏽

Now we do strength training 💪🏽 She is much happier and comes to the gym for her mental health and not for the bikini body (although she will get that too 😉) and for the days the negative thoughts come back I keep videos for her (with her permission) to see the difference and the improvements she has made!

OCD is personalised to everyone just like any other mental or physical health issue. make sure your trainer knows this and is able to adapt to YOUR needs!
