🔴RECRUITMENT⚫

We are recruiting players for our Men's 1st XV for next season🏉

Following a relegation from West 1 last season we have recently hired a new coach and are also looking for new players to bolster our ranks as we compete in West Division 2 and the National Shield

We train every Tuesday and Thursday through the season with pre-season starting on the 7th of July, we have a young competitive squad and are hoping to be competing at the top end of the table next season⚡

Last Friday we spent the night celebrating our senior teams. Committee members, John and Bronwyn, hosted our awards ceremony and our prize winners were as follows -

Mens Young Player of the Year (selected by Grant Young) - Cody Gibson
Men’s Top Try Scorer - Kyle Farrow
Ladies Breakthrough Player - Jenna Gibney
Men’s Players Player of the Year - Jake McPhee
Men’s Most Improved Player (Selected by Hillhouse) - Cammy Kerry
Ladies Players of the Year - Cobi Welsh
The Robin Hunter - Most Deserving - Award (selected by Tober) - John Watt
Men’s Player of the Year (selected by Hamish Hodge) Lewis Young

We also celebrated Jayson McMillan, men’s captain, as he retires from playing. Jayson has made a huge impact on the men’s team and on hundreds of players over the years. We look forward to see him now develop as a coach and thank him for the decades of putting on a Cumnock jersey on a Saturday!

Furthermore, we thanked Scott Given as he ends his 3 year presidency at the club. Scott’s hard work and dedication during his presidency has been greatly appreciated.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our players and club this year and we look forward to the season ahead!

Our senior teams are headed to Whitecraigs this Sunday for the VSN 7s tournament👏🏻

Last year we seen drink/food stalls, live music and plenty good rugby - we can’t wait to see what’s in stall this year👀

Kicks offs will be early so head down to Whitecraigs for a 10am start and cheer us on🗣️
