We are receiving a high volume of messages relating to our new learn to swim framework. Please remember the centre is still closed and lessons will resume once it is safe to do so. All children and adults currently enrolled in our swim programme (including new blocks started over the last year) will receive a balance of lessons which will be delivered as a priority. New enrolments, waiting lists and athletes for Visions Swim Academy are now being considered. Can we ask all new enquiries to drop us a PM including a contact telephone number. Its great to see so many parents positive about swimming! Swimming is a great exercise supported by the resistance of the water and an invaluable life skill.

We will soon be launching our new membership system and app! From bookings to payments, everything can be confirmed from your smart phone. Pre Covid centre members will be contacted very soon with information. Customers and members will still have the option to book and pay in the centre.

We are delighted and excited to announce our new Partnership with Scottish Swimming 🏊

Anne Hendry, Centre Manager revealed 2020-21 has been one of the toughest years on record for the Leisure Industry. Following months of lockdown, restrictions, localised shutdowns the leisure market is now facing an extended period of market instability. The pandemic has provided an ideal opportunity to streamline services, reduce waste and expenses whilst focussing on priorities more than ever. We welcome this change which will benefit swimmers from birth to our adult framework and offer new challenges to our talented athletes within Visions Swim Academy.

Euan Lowe, CEO of Scottish Swimming confirmed "It’s great to have Visions on board as a new partner within the Scottish Swimming Learn to Swim Framework in partnership with Scottish Water. We look forward to working with the team at Visions once pools re-open to help children become safe, confident and competent swimmers”.

Following our previous appeals, these cars were caught this morning dropping off pupils attending the Barony Campus. We ask you DO NOT use our road but the designated drop off and pick up points identified by the school. This is due to a very close near miss not only with a member of staff from the centre but a pupil of the primary school. CCTV is in operation and police are working with the centre. For the safety of everyone involved, in particular the volume of children and adults taking this route to school, please take note of this message, thank you

❌UPDATE ❌ This incident took place at 8.55pm last night and a member of the public has been witnessed on CCTV jogging past the Centre at this time. They passed the culprits at the top of the new path installed between Visions and the Rugby Club. If you have any information please contact the Centre or Police Scotland, thank you.

Unfortunately this morning we have arrived to find an act of vandalism. Disappointed to say the least! CCTV footage has witnessed the perpetrators and the matter has been handed to the police.

With the Centre still closed, we sit in anticipation awaiting a further announcement later today from the First Minister. Thankfully, time has been on our side for once and we've had the opportunity to decorate, refurbish, replace and develop awaiting you return!

❌PARKING, drop off and pick up❌
Can we gently remind the public no access to Visions Leisure Centre is permitted for parking, drop off and pick up for pupils attending the Barony Campus. This afternoon we had a further near miss where a child could have been seriously injured by a blue Volkswagen Passat mounting not only the pavement but the footpath. The full incident is on CCTV so we please ask for your cooperation, thank you
