📣 Introducing… MINI ACRO 💥

Another exciting new class that’s being added to our timetable from September 🥳

Mini Acro is an introduction to Acro for little ones ages 3-5, where they’ll start to safely learn flexibility and the foundations that build up to amazing tricks! If your wee one has lots of energy and loves tumbling then this the class for them 👏

This class will be taught by our phenomenal Instructor Katie who is an absolute Acro extraordinaire 🔥

☀️ SUMMER PRIVATE LESSONS ☀️

Kara, Katie and Skye all have availability for private lessons over the summer holidays 🕺

30 minute private lessons to work on whatever you want to work on with your chosen instructor. This could be to work on choreography from classes, new choreography, specific skills, technique, anything you want!

Privates are suitable for up to 3 dancers at a time, all must be looking to work on the same content. When you book your privates please drop us a message so we know what you want to work on in advance 🙏

For dancers P1-S6 and adults. Always open to all abilities & gender identities💜

Last Friday I had the absolute pleasure of watching our phenomenal Instructors, Katie & Skye, in their end of year college show at ✨

It’s hard to put into words how proud I am of them both. They are two of the most dedicated, hard working and talented people I have ever met and they have given their absolute all to their training this year 👏 literally nothing will stand in either of these women’s ways - when they want something they get it!

And, I may be being biased, but they absolutely stole the show 🥹 technique & performance from them both was 10/10 stunning! But I never expected anything less 🥰

On a personal note, this was such an amazing full circle moment for me. I performed my last end of year college show on the same stage, having been taught by many of the same lecturers, almost exactly 9 years ago to the day! What a crazy journey the last 9 years have been from performing & choreographing all over the world, to now mentoring the next generation of Instructors and teaching the next generation of dancers 🥹

Katie and Skye, you guys are just phenomenal and we are so lucky to have you both at DDA 💜

📣 Introducing… CHEER 💥

We are SO excited to be adding Cheer to our timetable from Monday 7th September!

Cheer is a high-energy class that combines elements of dance, tumbling, gymnastics and stunts. It creates an amazing combination of athletic performance, artistic expression, and team dynamics 🔥

This class will be taught by our phenomenal Instructor Katie!

Katie has years and years of outstanding experience to pass on to our Cheer squads. She has been a Scottish champion gymnastic, top 3 British gymnast, previous member of Team Scotland Cheer squad and has also completed her qualifications in Cheer coaching 👏

This is a class that you do not want to miss!

📣 Introducing… MUSICAL THEATRE 🎭

We are SO excited to announce that we will be adding Musical Theatre to our timetable from Saturday 5th September!

Musical theatre is a vibrant storytelling form of performance that creatively combines acting, spoken dialogue, songs, and dance. Every element works together to communicate amazing stories!

Along with announcing this new class we are so excited to announce the addition of a new Instructor to our team who will teaching Musical Theatre for us… the amazing Charlotte McCrea 🥳

“Charlotte began dancing at just two years old and discovered her love for performing from an early age training in styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, commercial and modern.

As she got older her passion for the arts grew, she went on to train at Dance For All in Edinburgh where she completed her HND and first started training to become a teacher and discovered a real love for teaching and inspiring young performers. Charlotte then went on to achieve her degree in Musical Theatre at Performers College in Manchester.

Throughout her training Charlotte has performed in many musicals and dance shows with some of her favourites being, Legally blonde, The wizard of Oz and bring it on! As well as performing in Go dance at the theatre royal in Glasgow.

Charlotte is incredibly excited to be joining the team and can’t wait to meet everyone!”
