Boxing Is Not Just About Learning How To Punch. It Is About Learning How To Believe In Yourself, Respect Others And Never Give Up.

At Beath Boxing Club, We Encourage Schoolchildren To Get Involved In Boxing At An Early Age, Giving Them The Opportunity To Develop Fitness, Confidence, Discipline, Self-Control, Respect And Determination.

Through Training, Young People Learn That Hard Work And Commitment Bring Results. They Learn How To Set Goals, Overcome Challenges, Handle Pressure And Keep Going When Things Do Not Go Their Way.

For Those Who Choose To Compete, Boxing Can Build Courage, Mental Strength, Resilience And Confidence, While Teaching Them To Win With Humility And Accept Defeat With Dignity.

Most Importantly, We Want Our Young People To Take The Values They Learn In The Boxing Club Into Their Everyday Lives — Showing Respect To Their Families,Teachers, Friends And Community, While Also Earning The Respect Of Others.

Our Belief Is Simple: Give Young People The Right Environment, The Right Guidance And The Right Values, And You Can Help Them Grow Into Confident, Respectful, Responsible Young Adults And Good Citizens.

đŸ’„Start your kids at Boxing ??

Give them an outlet and see the results for yourself.

One of the best things you can do for your child is to start them in a Boxing class, training in Boxing will give you the same benefits as many other kids activities but also several that are unique to Boxing

1) Discipline

We expect every child who trains with us to have a very high standard of behaviour, the techniques we teach are very effective so we will not tolerate any type of bad behaviour. Some kids start training after their behaviour at school deteriorated and it has completely transformed them.

2) Fitness

More and more kids are now classed as obese, various factors influence your child’s health such as the amount of sugary processed food you give them and their activity levels. Let’s be honest they don’t get enough P.E in school any more so you need to get them doing physical activities outside of school hours and Boxing is an excellent choice.

3) Concentration

Boxing training encourages your child to focus, our coaches are constantly questioning the kids during the class to make sure they’ve retained the information and are focusing on the activities they’re performing rather than thinking about PlayStation or Xbox

4) Age specific classes

You can’t coach a three year old and 12 year old in the same way or expect to put them in the same class without injury but you’d be amazed how often it happens. At Beath Boxing we offer three classes, Minis 4-7 yrs, Cubs 8-11 yrs and youths 12-17 yrs. This allows us to offer age specific training in a safe fun way.

5) Friendship
Many of the kids at the gym make great friendships with other kids who they may have not previously met at their school or kids from other schools. Having a shared interest that isn’t that common compared to football for example builds a strong bond.

6) Self Defence
Bullying at schools happens every. Let’s teach our kids how to be aware when they’re walking about, let’s teach them techniques so they at least have a fighting chance should the worst happen. A confident kid is very difficult to bully.

7)😎 It doesn’t involve a ball.
Some kids struggle at the standard school sports such as football, tennis, basketball etc. I know this as I was one of them, I wasn't good at football I was put in goal all the time.
Boxing gives your child a way to learn to love sport and physical activity that they won’t get at school if they don’t fit into one of the mainstream sports.

8) Confidence
Boxing training makes confident kids, there’s something about a solo sport that makes a child more more confident and resilient then a team sport. Maybe it’s that you can’t use anybody else as an excuse for poor performance or maybe it’s because you’re treated as an individual rather then a position but the kids get confident quickly.

9) Competition
Boxing offers kids the chance to compete in a light contact sparring , the option is there if any of the kids want to test their training in a safe controlled format. Who knows they may progress to club, national or international events.

10) Its Fun
Kids sit in a classroom for most of the day, they need a place to let off steam in a controlled way. They love to hit pads and punch bags, they love to run around in skill based games, hold pads for their friends and some of the kids even enjoy the workouts!

New class timetable is for the 2026/2027 season.

Everyone is welcome—whatever your fitness or experience levels.

Our classes are buzzing with energy and are a great way to train in a motivating, friendly environment. All our coaches are fully registered and insured with Boxing Scotland. All coaches have current PVG accreditation, child protection qualified and are all qualified first aiders.
You know you’re in expert hands as you work towards your boxing and fitness goals.

We are a Cowdenbeath based boxing and fitness gym, and we’re all about building strength, confidence, and community.

Yes we do have a highly active and successful competition team. But that's only a fraction of what we do.
The majority of the team started in one of our younger age groups before transitioning to the boxer group.

Whether is for fitness, fun or trying your hand at competition. Beath has got you covered.

Congratulations to Ruby Price Junior Cowan Charlie Bonnar on their selections for the Boxing Scotland Next Generation Squad.

The guys have been through various International bouts, assessments for 4 Nations Championships and now assessments for the Next Generation Squad.

Everyone at the club is incredibly proud of the tremendous trio.

To have 3 of our boxers selected for this is a testament to their hard work and unwavering dedication.

Our coaching team have also worked tremendously hard to bring this to fruition.

A quite astonishing achievement from the wee club in Cowdenbeath.
