Fife Nordic Ski Club

Fife Nordic Ski Club Welcome to the Fife Nordic Ski Club page! We are an all age, all ability cross-country ski club. Our season usually runs April till November.

We are a club for nordic skiing enthusiasts living in Fife and the surrounding areas. The club was initially set up by Snowsport Scotland but is now an affiliated club run by a volunteer committee. We hold regular roller-skiing sessions on Monday evenings 7-9pm at Fife Cycle Park, Lochgelly. Roller-skiing is a great way to practise cross country skiing without needing snow. It is an all body workout, so can improve your fitness and balance. Our Monday night sessions are mixed ability, coached sessions with a different focus each week. Kit hire is available. If you are new to the sport, look out for our beginner blocks where we'll have a dedicated coach to give you a concentrated introduction to skate style! If you are already competent on roller skis, you can join in the group sessions. Non-club members need to pay a day membership in addition to the session cost. Session costs for the coming year are still to be confirmed. We hope to have an online sign up soon! Our club info album gives info on what we were up to in 2022 (when Snowsport Scotland were in charge) and an idea of what to expect at sessions: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.3107483162823659&type=3. We also have a Google calendar with our session dates and themes: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/u/2?cid=ZmlmZXJvbGxlcnNraUBnbWFpbC5jb20
