Scale up 0.65kg overnight 😱

Before anyone panics about a jump like this, here’s what could be influencing the scale today:

• Poor sleep all week (my 6-year-old has been keeping us up 🙃)
• I’m in my luteal phase, when many women naturally retain more water
• Had gravy with dinner last night = potentially more sodium = more water retention
• I probably need a poo 🤫 💩

None of these things are body fat.

To gain 0.65kg of body fat overnight, I’d need to eat roughly 5,000+ calories above maintenance, which definitely didn’t happen.

This is why we look at trends, not daily weigh-ins.

Over the last 3 months:

• Down 5.9kg
• Average loss of 0.46kg per week
• Consistent downward trend

Daily fluctuations are normal.

The scale reflects:
• Food volume
• Hydration
• Hormones
• Sodium intake
• Sleep
• Digestion

It doesn’t just reflect body fat.

Zoom out, look at the trend, and trust the process. 🤍

People often ask why I spend so much time here.

It’s not just the awesome equipment or the friends I’ve made along the way…

It’s a place where I can coach, train, focus, work, learn, and keep building the person I want to become.

Some places drain your energy. This one gives it back.
