**PLEASE KEEP DOGS OFF OUR RUGBY PITCHES**

Despite repeated reminders and clearly visible signage, we continue to have problems with dogs fouling on our rugby pitches.

This evening, our Violets were training and several players left the pitch with dog faeces on their boots — and even on the rugby balls. This is completely unacceptable.

Later this week, our senior and junior teams will all be using the pitches. As a result, additional work will now have to be carried out to ensure the playing surfaces are properly cleaned and safe for our players.

It is incredibly frustrating, disgusting and, most importantly, a serious health and safety concern.

We are once again asking everyone who uses the surrounding area to **PLEASE KEEP YOUR DOGS OFF THE RUGBY PITCHES AT ALL TIMES** and to respect the signage in place.

Our pitches are used by players of all ages, including children. Please help us keep them clean, safe and suitable for everyone to enjoy.

✍️ SIGNING ANNOUNCEMENT! 🖤🤍

Vardre RFC are delighted to welcome Kingsley Jones back to the club ahead of the new season!

Kingsley returns to Vardre from Cwmtwrch RFC, having also represented Abercrave RFC over the last few seasons.

An explosive prop and powerful ball carrier, Kingsley brings plenty of strength and physicality to the pack. His ability to get over the gain line and make an impact around the field will be a big asset for us this season.

With plenty of senior rugby experience behind him, Kingsley will add some real power to our forward pack and further competition in the front row as we prepare for the season ahead.

We’re delighted to have Kingsley back at the club and can’t wait to see him back training with the boys and putting on the black and white once again.
