Ned has explosive power at the set-piece and this young number two is equipped to smash through the gain-line, whilst also delivering pin-point lineout darts under pressure. We are all excited to see this young talented player develop further this season.

The club would like to congratulate Tom Downing on being selected to lead the boys for 2026/27 season 🏉🤝

Club stalwart Tom Downing has been named captain of Birchgrove RFC for the 2026/27 season. Having given everything to the red and white shirt from the junior ranks through to the seniors, Tom was a natural choice to lead the side, earning the total respect of his teammates and the entire club.
