Struggling to build momentum with your training? Start simple and stay consistent.

Find a style of training you genuinely enjoy — that’s what keeps you coming back. Set realistic, short-term, performance-based goals and focus on progress, not perfection. Don’t rush to the finish line before you’ve even started — take it one step, one kilometre at a time.

Remember, this is about improving your life, not restricting it. You don’t need to be all-or-nothing with nutrition — stick to the basics: high protein, high fibre, and eat a variety of whole foods. And before worrying about supplements, nail the fundamentals — hydration comes first.

Accountability is key, whether that’s a coach, a PT, or simply showing up for yourself. Most importantly, train in an environment where you feel comfortable, supported, and motivated to grow.
