Tom Bill and Jessica Caughtry to headline British Champs at Bala inc Welsh Super Series finale.
Welsh Super Series champion to be crowned at Bala British Championships on a jam-packed weekend that includes international action from Zofingen and Almere.

2024 British silver medallist Thomas Bill and recently crowned British Aquathlon Champion Jessica Caughtry headline a stacked field for this year's British Championships and crucial Welsh Super Series decider.
Tom Bill won the GB qualifier at Chester by over 10 minutes in June before finishing third at Outlaw Holkham behind only established pros Malachi Cashmore and Joe Skipper โ making him a solid favourite.
But with 1.5x points on offer, his rivals competing among themselves for the Welsh Super Series will be highly motivated: Matt Grantham, Zachary Beddows and 2025 series champion Ross Hosking each stand a chance with the super series finely balanced after 5 races.
Oliver Simon (45-49), who beat all three at the Welsh National Standard Distance Championships, adds further fuel to the fire. Eastbourne qualifier winner James Green and Iwan Froley also feature.
The women's race serves up an equally fascinating encounter between Jessica Caughtry who won this race in 2024 and Commonwealth Games cyclist Ella Barnwell, who has won 5 of her 6 races this season.
Barnwell, dominant at Barry Island last week, raced standard distance for the first time at Welsh Nationals. She came 2nd in her only defeat of the season, beaten by Lucy Marland on the run.
The women's Super-Series is also all to play for. Marland, Rhian Roxburgh and Emma Palfrey each have a chance should Barnwell come unstuck over the longer distance. Joined by Llanelli silver medallist Ciara Cust and Veronica-Green Jones, fresh from double gold in Banyoles. Plus Isabelle Land, Jasmine Kilmartin and Becky Owen.
There's international action too, with European MD Duathlon Champion Olivia Harrod among the most promising of GB's 26 athletes at the World Long Distance Duathlon Championships in Zofingen, while another 22 GB athletes compete at the European Long Distance Triathlon Championships.
