Something a bit different.
Just after some feedback really.

Harrison Ballista 12ft 2.75lb
Following specs
ALPs CWG AiP reel seat
Super lightweight American Tackle Vortex Air guides in shadow finish (30-25-20-12-10-8 and 8mm anti frap tip)
Light Burl full cork handle with dark Burl accents.
Stainless collars and stainless solar butt cap.
I’ve created this whipping pattern to look as close to a British army DPM camo as possible.

This rod is absolutely perfect for surface carp, float fishing for carp or even barbel in larger rivers.

💥I’ve now included a page on my website ( Cjscustomrods.co.uk ) that shows rods I have for sale.
These are normally rods that I build when working overtime and built to specs that I would like if I were buying myself.

I’ve just finished building these.
If you need to be hitting big distances then these rods are as good as it gets.
Blanks……….Harrison Aviator Plus 2 (13’ 3.75lb)
Seats…………AT 1k carbon
Guides………AT Ti Forged Air (shadow finish) (50-40-30-25-20 and 16mm anti frap tips)
Handle………Abbreviated Shrink with small flare
Caps and collars……..black delrin (pointed butt caps)
The Spod rod has 1/2 and 1ft markers whipped on incase it’s ever used as a marker rod. (See pics)
The whipping is random cross whipping over a dark (storm grey) main whipping, for a real bespoke look.
This is extremely low key and only really shows in bright sunlight.

The rod sections also have been numbered using 1,2,3 whipping bands. Again super low key but there if you look.
